I am writing as a patient under long-term medical care to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the treatment process and the conduct of a physician I recently encountered. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and appropriately addressed.

For over seven years, I have been experiencing ongoing health issues and have been attending regular medical appointments. Unfortunately, most of these consultations have been extremely brief—sometimes lasting no more than one minute—with little to no meaningful assessment or follow-up.
At a critical point, when my condition deteriorated to the verge of paralysis, I was informed that surgery was necessary. Trusting the medical advice, I waited six months for the scheduled operation. However, during my most recent appointment, the physician casually informed me that surgery would not resolve my issue, without providing any further explanation, support, or alternative treatment options.

As a patient, I not only need medical care but also compassion, communication, and clarity regarding my condition and treatment path. Regrettably, I was treated in a way that left me feeling dismissed and dehumanized, as if I were just another case rather than a person in need of help.

I kindly urge the relevant authorities to investigate this matter seriously and take steps to ensure that other patients do not endure similar experiences.👎

After nearly a year waiting I saw a Doctor for all of 20 minutes. The doctor was abusive and arrogant. She did not like me asking questions and had already made her conclusions before even meeting. I was then discharged without any insight in to my condition. The care or lack there of from Walton is just unbelievable, these people are monsters only interested is stats and never people. I will be seeking legal advice. If you are ever unlucky enough to go here make sure you have back up with you as their approach is one of bullying and threats. Be careful.

I had an appointment on June 2nd. The female staff and the receptionist were very kind and pleasant. However, in contrast, the doctor was rude and ill-tempered, and did not know how to treat a patient properly. Unfortunately, they haven’t done anything for me over the past few years, and my condition has worsened. I can no longer move and I live in constant pain and tears. My life has become a living hell. They have no compassion for their patients. I feel paralyzed, and the only ones responsible are the doctors who fail to fulfill their duties.❌️

Absolutely amazing Staff and hospital.. My husband has just spent a couple of days on Caton Ward following spinal surgery and the whole team were fantastic. They were extremely pleasant and helpful. The ward and hospital was clean. I can't thank them enough for making his stay so very comfortable. Excellent Team 👏

There is a serious problem with the out patient appointments system. I have been waiting 43 weeks and still counting, for a treatment review, having attended the Walton centre since 2018 with dystonia. Dystonia may not kill you but it wears you down. This is inhumane treatment.

My brother was brought to the Walton Centre on the 10th January this year (2025) for emergency surgery for a massive bleed on the brain. He was looked after in the Horsley ward (ITU). After 11 days he was transferred to the ITU at our local hospital. I cannot thank the staff enough for all their expertise, caring & compassion. I am eternally grateful for my brothers life being saved and slowly but surely he is starting to recover. As I don't know the names of all the staff involved in both his surgery & care, I can only personally thank the ones I do remember, Amy, Mavis, Sam & Erin, who were all nurses on Horsley ward. Apologies for not mentioning others but know that I really appreciate everything you've done for my brother! 🙏🙏🥰🥰🙏🙏🥰🥰
