Awful experience, denied access to basic healthcare, have to go private for everything, you can't phone up and make an appointment, there is a useless online system instead, hostile reception team. I would not have believed it was possible for surgery to be as bad as this one.

Awful service, put an online request in... Next week was the next available appointment, rang up to change it as I need same day was told not a medical emergency and to attend a&e so I rang 111 and they told me to ring the doctors back and get an appointment as they don't deal with on going issues. Doctors are still telling me to go to A&E!! Why do we pay national insurance? Reception was not understanding at all, very disappointed in the service received. And this new online system is rubbish!!!

The appalling treatment I have had recently by Belvoir Health Group cotgrave surgery. They have not only discontinued my diabeties medication without discussing it with me, refuse point blank to even attempt to discuss alternatives with me for trulicity while it's out of stock and have incorrectly sent blood tests off for the wrong tests (not testing what it was requested for). The practise manager hasn't even bothered to contact me following my formal complaint. The helpful receptionist has tried to make me an appointment with a diabetic nurse and was told by the surgery this was innaproriate, even after she pointed out a formal complaint had already been made about this issue. Absolutely disgusting GP practise. Disgraceful.

What I never understand is why the phone is always engaged from 8am till 8.30 and after that by the time you get through all the appointments are taken

There is either a fault with the phone lines or a deliberate attempt to stop people getting through.
If you ring at 7:59:59 you are told the surgery is closed and opens at 8:00.
If you ring dead on 8:00 you get an engaged tone.
You continue to get an engaged tone well after 8:00
