Very relaxing and would definetly do it again. We got to float for an hour and we managed to get it when the offer was on. The guy on reception was lovely and made us feel welcome. Thanks again! 😊❤️

The pods are very large and spacious so it takes a while to feel claustrophobic. Unfortunately I suffer with anxiety and so eventually did almost have a panic attack and had to get out as the air was EXTREMELY warm and hard to breathe inside the closed pod. Definitely an odd and unique feeling. Would try again, even if I did get motion sickness towards the end. The only thing I would say, is that the rooms themselves are not very clean. There was dust everywhere and hair still in the showers. Luckily we were the first in that day but someone went pretty much straight in after us without much cleaning. I know there is a filtration system for the water but that’s not going to sort the outside out. Got the voucher of groupon so was very good value however x

Our first time for a flotation session. Our son and daughter in law . Wanted to buy us a gift which was a little different. They booked online which was easy to do.
We arrived at Redmayne lodge York, greeted by Darren who was welcoming and very informative about the pods and what we could expect from our hour session . After filling in a few forms.we were set to go. There are 2 pod rooms . So one each.
The concept of time dissolves with any stress aches or pains. I went for the full experience ear plugs and pod lid down lights out and drifted. I’m quite claustrophobic but did not feel in the least bit on this occasion.
It’s like stopping the world and getting off for an hour, came out relaxed but clear headed and energised. Highly recommend and good for the soul.

What a unique and amazing experience this was. It was very strange to get used to at first, but you mind really does switch off and you end up in deep relaxation.

Lovely friendly gentlemen on reception who explained everything well. Bought this voucher as part of groupon but it's well worth the full price and I plan on getting a session again.

Had two floats here, first was ok, second was bad, cold! Reported it to receiption but no joy, just excuses and no simpathy only tried to sell me flotation card. Will not be back again!
Could do with a good clean.
