My daughter visited Steve when she was struggling with anxiety whilst studying at Liverpool John Moores university. She had tried to access the university counselling programme but couldn't find the courage to attend the sessions. Steve was absolutely wonderful with her. He was able to quickly understand the impact that anxiety was having on her everyday life. He helped her challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and focus on more constructive thought processes. She only saw him on four occasions, due to lock down, as she moved back home. She has since finished university and is coping extremely well following his support. The techniques he gave her helped her come off all her medication and she is a lot happier, more confident and can cope better with situations she would have once found extremely challenging. I am very happy to recommend him to anyone needing support for anxiety.

To be honest when I first arrived I rather rudely thought this is a waste of time. How wrong was I. Steve helped me understand everything that was going on in my head that even I didn't know how to piece together. I had a car crash with my toddler and just felt lost if I'm honest. But I would highly recommend Steve if your struggling in all sorts of ways me I didn't want to get up in the morning. Im coping so much better now thanks to his help.

Working Conversations has been an invaluable aid to individual members of the Oasis Wellbeing Support Group, which I help organise, at Christ Church Higher Bebington, Wirral. It is so difficult, currently, to access support for people with mental health issues. - Jill Wright, Lay Minister
