I came to Angela 18 months into menopause, having been on HRT for 3yrs. It had helped to a degree but I had increasing levels of unexplained anxiety which would wake me up feeling adrenalized, without having any major external reasons. This anxiety seemed to make my brain fog worse and was seemingly leading to high blood pressure. I had had investigations, eco cardiogram etc and no issues were discovered and so came to understand through Angela, it was this ‘rushing woman’s syndrome’ as I now know it, where the drop in female hormones, leads to cortisol to running riot.
Angela has been a God send, who checks in with me and truly cares, as I was on the brink of having to take beta blockers, as a holistic therapist who loves her job and life and who tries so hard to eat well, exercise and supplement my diet too, this was troubling me. Angela has such a breadth of knowledge of which herbs, supplements and life hacks to bring to this crucial time in a woman’s life. So if you are struggling to find solutions do book in and follow Angela’s advice to the latter and give your body time to adapt. I feel we owe it to ourselves to finally prioritise our health at this time to have and embrace a better second half.
