My partner spent the last three weeks of his life in ward 11, he passed on Monday 9th June. The staff were absolutely amazing and during his last five days I have never seen such care and respect for him and for myself and family anywhere. I don’t want to name any one person because you were all lovely to us all. Thank you for your care, support and kindness to John and all of us. We know how hard you tried to save him but it wasn’t to be. My thanks to you all. Pat Medina

My Aunty has asked me to express how happy she was with the treatment and care she has recieved from Anshu Tajusia a physiotherapist. She was very professional and caring and Joyce Kimberley feels she deserves a special mention with the help she gave her in getting mobile again.
Many thanks again to everyone in the Physio department at West Heath Hospital for all their time and help.

My Uncle was cared for by the wonderful people at West Heath Hospital. Initially he was a patient on Ward 12 and he, as well as all of us family members, were treated exceptionally well. As his needs became more complex my Uncle was moved to Willow House, within West Heath Hospital. While at Willow House it became clear that he was not improving and that he required end of life care. The kindness, professionalism and treatment he received at Willow House was beyond any of our expectations. Every element of his life was enhanced and the care given was more Celebrate Life than End of Life. Every single member of the Team at Willow House played a significant part in not only my Uncle's life but also in our lives as his family. As a family we have no doubt whatsoever that he lived as long and as happy as he did thanks to Willow House. Sadly, he passed away on 08 May 2025 with his dignity intact and his welfare still everyone's primary concern. We have no words that could even begin to convey the depth of thanks and appreciation that we owe to West Heath Hospital and Willow House.

Visited a friend who has been at the QE for some time and then moved to Moseley Hall for a couple of days then to Willow House at West Heath Hospital for rehab. The ward and staff were very pleasant and helpful. We think that her rehab will progress positively of the next few weeks and hopefully she'll be going home before long πŸ™‚

It has taken me 2 months to write this review.
This hospital was abysmal from the moment my mom entered it.
60 percent of the nurses were professional and helpful the other 40 percent not so much I wouldn't give them a job looking after my cat.
My mom entered ward 12 after being discharged from the QE after 5 months of pure hell.
This hospital was supposed to have helped to get my mom up and moving but they did nothing to help or encourage movement. I asked the Dr to send my mom back to hospital, he didn't just back pain he said! bit of pain relief she will be ok.. He advised my mom had Dementia?.
But she didn't she had cancer riddled for several months.
He reduced her pain meds leaving my mom wrenching in agony. Holding onto a bed in pain while the idiots messed with her meds.
Now she has a few weeks to live and I am devastated at the fact not only the QE has let her down after being hospitalised for months not finding the cancer, then sending her to that god awful place.. but west Heath traumatised her.
She should have been sent back to the hospital but they wasn't bothered.
I should have got her out of there. The nurses were incompetent and slow to act not just with my mom but other patients needing support.
I also believe my moms mental health took a battering! I now believe staff was unkind to her and watched our family conversations constantly. I felt no privacy and a total lack of empathy.
But my mom was then sent to nursing care and on arrival her medical records showed no Dementia and I was devastated they lied to me and now after the hell she went through there and the complete lack of communication my mom's dieing. Her confused state was cancer her pain was cancer her lack of movement cancer..
My mom' was left broken and dieing with no way of going back to hospital because a Dr decided not to send her..
The QE had put the nail in her coffin and West Heath buried her..

My Dad recently spent almost a month in the Willow ward.
The staff were EXCELLENT.
Always cheerful and willing to offer advice and information when asked.
They were all superb.
The hospital itself is spotlessly clean.
Well done to all.....you deserve all the praise you get.

My dad was admitted to ward 14 from heartlands hospital. The nurses and the care assistants involved in his care was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately dad got ill and was transferred to Moseley Hall hospital because they haven't got a over night doctor on call. Thank you to all the staff you are fantastic
