Visited the Breast Screening department in the Treatment Centre in May 2023 with my wife. The department was very caring for my disabled partner and gave her time to get herself organised . Do be aware that appointments can be several hours long and partners / drivers / friends are not allowed into the treatment rooms but if staying have to wait in the department reception area waiting room. They can communicate with patients by mobile phone and can leave for food or 'fresh air' etc. - there are food facilities , toilets etc by the main reception area as you enter the Treatment Centre .

Do be aware that parking is very limited directly in front of the Treatment Centre but there is a large 'Drop off' parking area with benches for people to wait ( but it is open to the elements ! ) A 'pay as you leave' scheme operates throughout the hospital and a ticket machine is in the foyer of the Treatment Centre . A small bank loan may be needed to pay for your visit .. mine was £4.50 for about 3 hours!

Very friendly staff, from receptionist and nurses to anethnatist and surgeons. I had inguinal hernia repair surgery here and it turned out very well, despite my escaping intestine being stuck to the surrounding tissue and tangled in my vas deferens. I'm lying in bed next day writing this and I'm still happy with my procedure. If you've got a hernia I recommend coming here for surgery.

I had an Appointment at the Shrewsbury Hospital,Treatment Centre for the Endoscopy Unit, To have Camera look into my Stomach etc, The Doctor and the Sister and the Nurses were Amazing and made me feel at ease they were very Friendly and Helpful and very dedicated to there Jobs that they did here,They have 110% off me for the Safety and cleanly ness of the waiting room etc, And the Hand Sanitizer and the New masks to wear on your arrival. It was a really easy Experience I had in there on that Day and I would go again if I needed too.....As your Health and Wellbeing is Important to keep you sane, In such a stressful and anxious time at the moment.

Daart treatment center,for me it was a pleasant experience staff efficient pleasant and very helpful tea and sandwiches offered whilst the iron infusion was in progress couldn't wish for a better service thankfully we have our trusted NHS services to be grateful for
