I've been getting my hair colour done by Amanda for over 10 years now and cannot recommend her, and her services enough. Despite moving out of Sunderland for 4 years I would make the journey as I've found no-one else as skilled as her! She always will take the time to make me feel comfortable, discuss what I am looking to achieve and executes it perfectly. I am always asked where and who does my hair which speaks volumes.

I get my cut usually with either Kelly or Jade and to echo my feedback for Amanda, they always take the time to listen and take me through it every step of the way and I'm always happy with the end result (even if I do play it safe with my cut every time)

I always leave the salon feeling like a new woman so thank you to the team for being as fab as they are ❤️

This morning I had a lovely, happy experience at Tizard House of Hair and Beauty, Seaham. When I went in the salon was very busy but the staff still took time to give me a warm welcome with cheery hellos and warm smiles. I felt at home and comfortable straight away.
Kelly cut and restyled my hair from long to short. She took time to ask me what I wanted and was happy for me to show her some photos I had on my iPad of styles I loved. As Kelly cut and restyled my hair she checked out with me at every stage how I wanted my hair to be... down to the smallest detail. And she described what she was doing, and why.
It was an amazing experience for me. I loved it and I was very relaxed and comfortable in Kelly’s care. Kelly’s expertise in cutting, shaping and restyling shone through as she worked. And so I felt completely confident in her skills. She also gave me advice on how to style my hair at home. That was very helpful too.
When I was leaving Kelly gave me a leaflet with the products ticked that she had used on my hair. And I intend to buy some too, partly because they worked great on my hair and a big part too due to the fact that Kelly put no pressure on me to buy them.
The price too was great. I have made my next appointment with Kelly and intend to drop in for a skin test in readiness for an eyebrow wax and tint.
I highly recommend the salon too. It is beautifully appointed and decorated. I felt great there.

Amanda is the best hair colourist there is. Shes patient and listens to you and is always honest with you. My hair colour is always perfect. Well done to amanda on her new salon and may it thrive , first class service from the excellent well trained staff 🎖

First time at Tizards. Had my hair cut by Kelly. Absolutely fantastic experience. She listened to what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions and gave excellent advice. Most importantly, she cut and styled my hair perfectly. I would highly recommend the salon and will definitely go again.

I booked a colour consultation and subsequent appointment. I attended the consultation, travelling an hour with my baby. The appointment for the colour was confirmed. However a few days later the appointment was cancelled by text message as Amy had decided to take the week off work. I was simply told to rebook, but this was not possible with the times offered as I was unable to rearrange my childcare. Extremely disappointing as I am now unable to get an appointment elsewhere before my holiday. I was also informed the times shown on the online booking system were inaccurate.

Kelly who does my hair is a lovely lady and makes me feel relaxed and at ease, I suffer with really bad anxiety so for me this is very important,
