Bit shocked at how low the score is. Genuinely lovely site, good facilities, everything is clean and high quality. The care I've received here has been second to none. I've been through various services here over the past decade and I'm very pleased with the progress I've made.

Year later with me calling them to ask if I could possibly be given adhd medication but no one got back no email like she said , I rang a few times to each reply was ok il let her know you should get a reply /email she didn’t reply! I really do not understand a mental health professional deciding who they reply back too or not reply !!

Called them many times to see when my assessment was but never answered their phone. Went personally and was told that waiting list was 18 months unless I went private, which was only a couple of weeks wait. I agreed to go privately and left them my phone and email address 3 weeks ago. Nobody has contacted me. I've tried calling again but still nobody answers. As other reviewers have said, they show no interest. Currently looking for a different place to be assessed

A few years ago I would have rated the Tuke Centre extremely highly, it was person centred in everything they did from reception & admin to therapists. However the best clinicians have long since left to either retire, or pursue the careers they trained for, which is to support people in their healing journey.

Therefore I strongly advise people to think very carefully before engaging with this service provider, especially as many other reviews echo my concerns.

I was referred on the NHS for exceptional funding for specialised eating disorder treatment and DBT. They were sent the notes from my inpatient intake assessment rather than my discharge notes by accident, but when I tried to explain this to the receptionist she was incredibly rude and kept trying to trip me up with reasons why I didn't need their service. I had just been discharged from my NHS adult outpatient team as the dietician had left and I had no support. My GP told me this was the only accessible specialised service available to me and I researched to make sure.

I relapsed very quickly after that. Now finally in a financial position to look at privatised care on my own but I will not be considering Tuke. Absolutely no compassion.

I have attended The Tuke Centre for the last 4 years, and my experience over this time has been positive. The support , guidance and understanding from the Doctors, Therapist and staff has been wonderful. My life is so different and full, thanks to their help.

Bad signage and staff do not keep appointments. Considering this place deals with people with mental health issues they are really not helping. The waiting room is just horrible it is like being at undertakers. Although staff at an undertakers are much more helpful!

Pretty much the same as everyone else is saying, had first assessment, seemed like a nice person and professional, but then heard nothing, haven't even had results from that asd assessment, how these people think they are helping anyone is beyond me, mental health treatment is a joke at the moment and it's not going to get better I think
