We attend a few times per year for dance events. Occasionally we've had a room upgrade to a larger suite, which is spacious, with newly refurbished bathrooms. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Breakfast choice is great. We even managed to make it to the spa last time. Easy to get to and a great venue.
My only gripe is that it can be very warm, with radiators on high. Depends on the clientele though, so I understand.

Lovely setting, peaceful area and dog friendly which is always a good thing for us. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, there is wifi but it isnt very good and you wont get much signal either. The pool was nice, there's a heated jacuzzi pool (which my 9 year old loved), and a cold pool. The room they're both in is heated like a sauna, we didnt try the spa. But really the only thing for us that let our break away down was the food service. Again the food was nice, just the service wasnt great, the staff were freindly of course, but the service was very slow. We love a laidback setting but our experience was abit too laid back for our liking so we probably wouldn't come back again. But thankyou for having us <3

What a lovely Hotel.

I booked a last minute break with my other half and I wasn't disappointed.

The location is beautiful, the hotel it's self is very stylish, you can see their trying to uplift the older parts of the hotel.

All the staff were amazing very helpful, personable and attentive.

The spa area was also a suprise as it was much nicer then I expected.

And last but not least food was amazing, we were a bit late for breakfast but it was still really nice.

Will definitely be returning soon.

A great afternoon spa experience |From start to finish. Every member of staff was exceptional. They were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. A credit to the Kimnel. We had a spa package with a lovely lunch, used the facilities and had a treatment. The spa is incredibly well organised and leaves nothing to chance. We were given an information letter with info and necessary codes. No risk of forgetting them. Theres some really nice touches. Plenty of jugs of lemon lime water everywhere. The chill out area had tea,coffee , flap jack. After your treatment you were given a tiny tray with a refreshing sorbet and water. Staff were always checking the areas were clean and tidy.

Visited for a wedding and 2 day stay, beautiful property, the rooms were immaculate and beds were were sensational!

Richard on the front desk was brilliant, our room wasn't ready until nearly 4pm. But he did everything he could to get it ready and was sympathetic and professional throughout. The bar service was slow in the evening which was frustrating but overall my partner and I had a great time.

The hotel is fabulous! The food in the evening was really good and we enjoyed every last morsel! Staff are very professional, room was spotless and very well looked after.|Why score of 3? The spa! The swimming pool was very, very cloudy! Not inviting at all. It was also cold. Did report to girl on reception, but they must have known as any visual check would have told them it was cloudy. The thermal pool was not quite warm enough and was also very foamy! It looked like someone had added bubble bath, so not the facilities fault, but again, visual inspection would have alerted the team. As others have said, quite small and not enough space in changing rooms - whole experience of spa was disappointing.|However, I would recommend the hotel without hesitation, just don’t opt in for the spa.

Fantastic hotel, renovated since our last stay 7 years ago making it even better. ||Food in the restaurant was superb, great selection of drinks and cocktails in the lovely bar area, the central blossom tree looks amazing! ||Friendly professional helpful staff and fabulous spa too. ||Spa facilities were great, I had a back massage too that was just what I needed.

Just returned from an overnight stay purchased via Groupon. My expectations were not too high however, it was wonderful. Everything was beautiful, rooms, restaurant, bar, service and food were fabulous and the icing on the cake was sitting in the sun on their lovely terrace enjoying a glass of wine and the beautiful scenery. Thank you so much and we can’t wait to return
