One of the best garden centres in the Reading area. The staff are amazing, all very friendly and hard working. Lots of variety, and home grown plants and succulents. Nice cafe and a farm shop with local produce.

Garden centre is great. Lovely looking flowers that are well maintained with helpful staff who pointed us in the right direction. The fruit and veg and eggs are of good quality from the farm shop. Didn’t buy any meat but the dry food was a bit disappointing. It appears it is mass market food in packaging so didn’t have a very local feel. It is however new so maybe they are gauging the market. Would be nice for it to be more locally produced food all round.

The checkout staff are friendly.
Some of the other staff are quite grumpy.
Came across a dog poop in the aisle of the indoor section today and tried to tell an assistant. She either didn’t hear me, didn’t understand me or was deliberately not listening to me - so I gave up. (just to be clear, I don’t have a dog so it was nothing to do with me).

The plants that are ‘reduced’ are only reduced if you are part of their ‘club’, ie they are able to gather your data. Otherwise, they are full price.

The tomatoes look big and juicy but I found them utterly tasteless.

We visited the farm shop on Saturday. Very expensive and disappointing. The strawberries i bought went off the next day. Not my experience elsewhere. The expensive biscuits I bought had no chocolate pieces in, were much smaller than the packaging suggested and flavourless
Very disappointed. Won't bother to visit again.

First visit yesterday and very impressed with quality, range and price of bedding plants. Also had prompt and polite help with getting compost to my car! I live down the road so probably won’t need to do the rounds of other garden centres as I used to (definitely won’t be using the other new one across the road!!).

Had a very tasty sausage roll and coffee. Friendly staff in the restaurant/cafe. Was very tempted by the good selection of cakes.
Farm shop is well stocked with interesting stuff.
Good to see the gardening bits getting back on track with a growing selection of winter bedding plants and hanging baskets.

Visited Sheeplands yesterday. Dropped into the #farmshop and bought jam, mead and biscuits. Took the time to visit the new #antiques centre. Everything was well displayed. A bit of a treasure trove. Enjoyable to mooch. My friend bought a coin to add to his collection. Super collection of Autumn/Winter plant.
