Had one session then was told I can’t come in anymore and must do future appointments online. Don’t always have online access. That’s that, worst counselling I’ve ever experienced after only one session. Now I’m having to seek counselling elsewhere and will have to join the back of the queue again?!

I’ve received lots of support from The Blue Door over the years. They put me in touch with a solicitor who helped me with my legal aid application which allowed me to go to court to safeguard my children. My ISVA (Lisa) kept in touch with me regularly and helped me through so many things. She was a listening ear as well as a voice that offered me lots of advice and told me about other help I could get.
Thank you

I've been supported by The Blue Door since 2019. I have worked with two separate services they offer. Throughout the past few year's I have been supported by Bluedoor I cannot fault them, they have made me feel at ease, comfortable, safe, heard and believed. Even when the people who have supported me have not known much about some of the areas that I've needed support with, they have gone above and beyond to get answers or signpost me to the correct people. Throughout my recovery of the trauma I have endured The Blue Door charity has helped me along the way. I have also recommended friends to the charity for help and support. Thank you Blue door for everything you have done and continue to do to support me.

This service has been a god send to me and my support worker is by far the best she has supported me through my court case and she is going to be there to support me through a retrial In September I have been using this service for over a year and half now and believe that as service the people who run the blue door are the same as every other organisation at the moment they are under funded and possibly under staffed which is through no fault of their own it’s just how it is with everything at the moment! I can only talk about personal care I have received from my support worker and I will happily tell you that she is a credit to this organisation and she always goes above and beyond to help where ever she can! So I just wanted to say that I thank the blue door organisation for the support and care that a member of your dedicated team.

My ISVA has been brilliant. She has helped me when the police have left me without answers. My only negative is that she is being reassigned to a different area. I understand the reason for wanting ISVAs to not have to work over such a large area, but when someone has been your one constant support for four years, to have them taken away before the case is complete doesn't feel compassionate or supportive. I feel it would have been better to reassign her slowly as the cases close. I just hope I get on with the new person as well.

Absolutely appalling service! No reply to texts in a week! They call themselves a support service they have done nothing but cause me stress whilst I have had to chase them.
