As a woman of a certain age, I’ve been having facials most of my adult life and usually try and find a salon that understands and meets my needs. This is a wonderful small (owner managed) salon, and you will relax as soon as you walk through the door. A great deal of love and attention has gone into the design of this space, and clearly the well-being of clients is uppermost in Joanne‘s ethos. Last year I was very poorly and suffered a severe and allergy to prescribed medication which made my face and body puffy plus an itchy rash. I recovered from this but my face still felt very puffy and I did not look like myself. I booked in for a Caci facial using a gift voucher from my daughter. I was so impressed with the relaxing treatment and texture of my skin afterwards that I booked for the 10 sessions course. I can only say the results have been dramatic. The puffiness has gone completely from my face, I can see the emergence of a jawline, and this most significant change which I find amazing is that I am applying my blusher higher on my cheeks which is clearly testament to the success of this course of treatment. I will now visit monthly to enjoy an hour of pamper and time to myself as I know the benefits will continue to be enhanced. I can highly recommend this salon, there is so much on offer with bespoke treatments, you really just have to leave yourself to Joanne’s very considerable experience. .

As soon as you walk into Sunshine for the Soul you can't help but feel relaxed! Jo has done an incredible job of creating a beautiful, calm space when you can enjoy your Me time. Recently I have had the Swedish massage with Infrared therapy and wow! I have been suffering with shoulder aches & pains for months but three treatments and I can't believe the difference! Not only do I feel better but I get 30 minutes in the treatment room to enjoy the stunning scents and sounds while Jo works her magic. I cannot recommend Sunshine for the Soul enough, the name couldn't be more accurate! x

I have been having electrolysis with Jo for almost a year now and WOW…..the results are amazing 🤩 The first few months it was hard to see the results but Jo reassured me that if I stuck with it, the results would come, and she was right! Highly recommend this absolute sanctuary of a salon! As soon as you enter it smells fantastic and so your journey begins to be transported to pure relaxation.
The whole space and rooms are wonderfully decorated with amazing art work, plants and colour.

Jo is a beautiful soul very warm and welcoming.
Everything is explained in detail in a safe environment.
I've had Crystal Alignment Reiki, Angelic Reiki and Back Massage would highly recommend them all amd have done to friends.
With the some of the treatments you are asked what your intentions are then Jo custom blends your own bespoke oil to use during the treatment but then to take home your own sample as well.
When I first came here I wasn't in balance energetically or spiritually but through the treatments, Jo's teachings and recommendations plus working with crystals I've managed to re balance, un burden and calm myself and become stronger mentally and spiritually.
Jo is a natural healer and knows what questions to ask so you get the most out of each session.
Plus her skill set and knowledge is always so beneficial and enlightening.

The eco shop is not to be missed either as its a is a treasure trove, I particularly like the goddess oil and selection of crystals.
I'm next booked in for the newest treatment - Healing Drum- Chakra Balancing and I cannot wait.
