I've been seeing Colette for 16 months now and I can honestly say I've never met a counsellor like her. I've been in and out of therapy my whole life after losing a parent as a young child and then battling depression and anxiety throughout my teenage years and adulthood. Colette is the first therapist I've seen who's actually made me feel seen and understood. She has this amazing ability to help you be curious about situations, see them from different perspectives and question strongly held beliefs. Her remit is incredibly varied and she's really helped me address my limiting core beliefs, work on my relationship skills, and delve into healing my inner child. I look forward to every session, where I can just relax in a big, comfy chair, open up about what's been going on that week, then delve into some growth work and, when I ask for homework, she gives me homework! Colette just seems to adapt the sessions to what's needed, listens so carefully and then helps me explore and rethink the topic of conversation. I leave every time feeling further along my growth and healing journey. Thank you, Colette, you're a godsend.

I've tried to write something a few times now that would capture how much I would recommend Colette and what her help has done for me but it keeps turning into an essay!

So I will say this, for most of my life I've lived in a state of anxiety and shame at things that were simply not my doing or my fault. To say that today, with sincere conviction and genuine belief is a place I never thought I'd get to.

Whilst I'm aware that as a client I do most of the work, I am forever grateful to Colette for giving me a safe space for my voice and feelings to be heard and validated. You helped save me from a life of surface living & surviving.

I have had a series of sessions with Colette Ricaud. Colette is a good listener. The environment that she has created allowed me to talk cathartically about sensitive issues that have been affecting me for a long while. She always ask how do I feel and more importantly she is non-judgemental. Her approach to counseling is very professional and caring.

I have been seeing Collete for just over 2 years. I can honestly say it was the best decision and money I have ever spent. Collete made me feel at ease, safe and not judged. I look forward to my sessions as I can off load in a safe space and feel heard.

I had suffered with depression for 20+ years and typically when I went to the GP was prescribed tablets. I have over the years tried CBT and talking therapies through the NHS, but it wasn't the right thing for me.

I contacted Collete as I didn't want to continue feeling the way I had for the last 20yrs, it's been hard and some sessions where harder than others and I am in such a better place, I still have my bad days but the good days far out weigh the bad days. When I am in a triggering situation, I can hear Collete on my shoulder reminding me how to handle the situation.

Thank you Collete for helping me find ME.

Colette is by far the best counsellor I’ve ever come across. After many many years of struggles, I am finally able to deal with my issues. She is amazing at listening, and has provided me with the tools I needed to get better. She is calm, inspires trust and confidence, and provides no judgement. Absolutely recommended if you aspire to good mental health.

Where do I start, Collette was there when I was at my worst, when my world was falling apart, from the minute I walked through the door I felt calm, welcomed and supported, I came out most weeks emotional drained but couldn't wait to go back the next week, she has turned my life around, I would 1Million percent recommend Collette to anyone, the best therapist and the best money I have ever spent.
