I came to Roxy in 2016 after being recommended as I had just been diagnosed with anxiety and severe depression. NHS talking therapies had literally given up on me because I had “used all the allowed sessions”. So I turned to private therapy!
The moment I met Roxy, she gave me a big hug and made me feel at ease! I had my first session and spoke about a lot of things, cried a lot too! My sessions with Roxy are a blur but I do remember her telling me some techniques that have literally stuck with me for life! I had therapy with Roxy for about 1.5-2 years and she knew exactly how to turn my life around! She gave me so many tips, exercises and resources! She helped me with relationship problems, home problems and even helped me to realise what a successful business I could run! I am now the happiest I have ever been, with some anxiety flare ups here and there but without Roxy I wouldn’t be able to cope with the flare ups! She is simply the best therapist I’ve ever had!

Where to begin? When I met Roxy I wasn’t specifically looking for therapy but soon knew she was going to become important to me, and offer an invaluable safe space, and support in my life. Roxy has never made me feel judged, or that my worries are in any way not valid; she has an incredible skill for letting you know you can trust her completely and for knowing you better than you sometimes know yourself!

I am so grateful to have found Roxy, and my world has opened up a lot since our sessions. Thank you for challenging my very firmly defined pre-conceptions of life.

Having come to a bit of a cross roads in my life (that felt like more of a spaghetti junction!) I had some sessions with Roxy to try and gain some clarity on where I was at/where I was going and to work on some limiting beliefs I was dealing with and had dealt with for a large part of my life.
Roxy is just the most lovely, warm and caring person and as someone who doesn't find talking about her emotions/feelings and problems easy, I knew as soon as I met Roxy that she was someone I'd be able to talk to.
During my sessions Roxy created an environment in which I felt at ease and, even when challenged by what we talked about, I felt that Roxy had my back and that with her support I was moving in the right direction with achieving what I wanted to get out of my sessions. With Roxy's help, I have developed an ability to be more assertive with what I want and the confidence to give things a go knowing that it's ok if things don't work out.
Despite living over 80 miles away from Roxy, the journey to see her for my sessions was well worth the effort! I'd definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a bit of help figuring things out.

I came across Roxy at just the right time! I’ve been struggling on and off with depression, anxiety, and limiting beliefs for many years, but more specifically post lockdown-down with isolation culminating in depression and anxiety rearing it’s ugly head again. This led me into a place of negative mindset, not looking after myself, lots of negative self-talk and ultimately very heavy drinking to self-medicate.

I recognised that I needed to make a change as my mind, body and soul was significantly suffering, and amplifying the negatives.

Roxy helped me understand that it starts with taking care of the small tasks in life which then build up to allow me to be able to take care of more that life throws at me, but with a much more balanced and positive mindset and approach!

Roxy has a gentle way of making you think and coming up with the answers yourself. Roxy also understood me and what my positive motivators were, so she could tap into that and help me to help myself!

I cannot recommend Roxy enough! She stays in touch as opposed to the usual session to session ‘abyss’ with other therapy methods. Roxy helps me set daily actions that are actually achievable; helping me build the foundations for a positive mind, healthy outlook and to be the person I want to be and live the life that I want to live!!

I have had the absolute pleasure to be able to have some coaching sessions with the wonderfully awesome Roxy. She really knows her stuff. she is patient, open, brings a smile to your face, totally professional. She doesn't let you off the hook easily but it all comes from a place of love. I had hypnobirthing sessions with Roxy prior to having my second child. I hadn't had an easy birth first time round and wasn't convinced I would be susceptible but felt I wanted to give it a try. The sessions were completely fantastic and relaxed me so much. I had an incredibly easy and relaxed birth, not having had any pain relief until 25 minutes before my son was born and only needing gas and air then. I completely credit the hypnotherapy with putting me in the relaxed mindset for this to happen. I cannot thank Roxy enough.
