When seeking Psychotherapy Service or mental health support in Liverpool, UK, Psychotherapy Service And Pd Hub located at 12 Haigh Rd, Waterloo, Liverpool L22 3XN, presents itself as a notable destination. This clinic, however, requires careful consideration due to its average rating and the limited number of reviews available.

The clinic specializes in Medical clinic services, which suggests it may offer a broad range of therapeutic options under medical supervision. This can be reassuring for those seeking a structured and possibly medically-approved approach to their mental health needs. However, it's crucial to note that the term "Medical clinic" might imply a more general healthcare service rather than a specialized psychotherapy center, which could impact the quality of care for those specifically looking for psychological therapy.

For accessibility, Psychotherapy Service And Pd Hub boasts several features that are commendable. They offer a wheelchair-accessible car park, an entryway and toilets that are also accessible for individuals using wheelchairs. This attention to accessibility ensures that the service is inclusive for all potential clients, including those with mobility issues.

Regarding customer feedback, the clinic has garnered 9 reviews on Google My Business, which, while a start, translates to a rather low average opinion score of 1.4/5. Such feedback indicates room for improvement in terms of service quality, staff demeanor, or perhaps even the effectiveness of the treatments provided. For those considering a visit to Psychotherapy Service And Pd Hub, here’s what you should keep in mind:

1. Expectations: Given the average rating, it might be beneficial to have realistic expectations regarding the outcomes of therapy. It could be helpful to discuss your concerns and expectations with the practitioners upfront.

2. Accessibility: The clinic's commitment to being wheelchair-accessible is a positive aspect. Make sure to confirm this directly if you or a companion require these amenities.

3. Further Research: Given the limited reviews, it might be prudent to look for additional resources or recommendations from trusted mental health organizations or peers who have had positive experiences with similar services.

4. Contact Information: To reach out or inquire about specific services, you can use the provided address or phone number. It's recommended to contact them ahead to discuss your needs and perhaps gauge the current situation regarding availability and client satisfaction.

Upon initial reading about people’s experiences at Spring House, it might be easy for anyone glancing through, to believe that the comments are overly histrionic, lacking in focus, and ultimately reactionary. However, dig deeper, and, like with everything, you’ll find that within these scribblings, the truth will out.

The poor review pattern, at just over one star has trended for a reason; and this comes from someone who was there for over a year. Nevertheless, I differ slightly in that I felt the receptionists to be absolutely lovely - but the service within, was deeply inadequate. You have to understand, that Spring House is mainly a pass through for trainee therapists who need to gain their stars, or acid hearted, apathetic therapists who are the way they are because they have spent far too long within an overburdened, broken mental health system which is doomed, inexorably to failure.

Therapy is one of those things, which is kind of like the icing on a cake - nice to have but not strictly necessary; which is why it isn’t taken seriously within Merseycare, and can operate as substandard because it is subconsciously perceived as a freebie. The reality is (if anyone reads this and requires therapy), is that you have to study the counselling directory to seek out an experienced therapist, and go private. It is costly, but if you are desperate and need someone to talk to, who is decent and compassionate - then that is the way to go. Trust me, it is worth the expense. Avoid Spring House, with its cloying, oppressive waiting room and forlorn, disconsolate aquarium, if you want to keep your sanity. Good luck to anyone who is suffering internally.

Honestly the worst experience I have ever had.
Fiona Craig Won't listen to anything you say,
instead talk over you and tell you what she
"thinks" which is not compassionate or
understanding. I did group psycho ed for my first
8 weeks, which I really enjoyed. They spend a
while talking about your next step under the
service, which they TELL you is mbt. So for two
full sessions you just talk about mbt, no other
options are spoken about. it's also a group but
don't enjoy talking to the people in that group and
questions you're asked, you'll get told off by
Suzanne.
Honestly this place is so backwards I need
therapy to talk about my experience. I also cried
in front of FIONA CRAIG while she read me a list
of what SUZANNE AND JEN from psycho ed
wrote about me (which none of it they told me in
my review?) saying, I didn't try, I didn't enjoy It,
wouldn't listen. instead of asking if I was okay,
Fiona Craig looked at me and her eyes lit up as I
cried and she grabbed a pen and paper. So I
obviously left while crying out of this service in
the middle of my session. No one stopped to ask
if I was okay, no one called me. I was given a
letter a week later to talk and at this point I was
exhausted from this service and how it let me
down time after time. I'm disgusted and I wish I
never set foot in this vile, lame excuse of a
service. Do not waste your time. You're better
with single point of access or talk Liverpool

I was under them for just over a year and they wernt equip to deal with me. I couldn’t get any mental health care from anywhere else while I was open to them. The year was horrendous towards the end after they pushed me into crisis im not going to go into it but believe me when I say how I managed to get through and discharged I don’t know. Therapy won’t even cut it because of the trauma they put me through and damage they did. And the toxic thing is is management did NOT care at all about my well being either. They would allow me to be that high risk and never did anything because there was no concern of them. One worker did try her best at times but she was taken from my care just before discharge I couldn’t take it anymore so I pushed for discharge. I told her something serious about her out of concern as I came across her personal details and they got the police out on me yes that’s right they still stand by that decision even though the police said it wasn’t a police matter. I got investigated for about 2 weeks to see if I was any risk in the end I couldn’t take it and ended up getting rushed to hospital. If this isn’t corrupt I don’t know what is. I’m free to get on with my life now but the ptsd that I had before I came here is of the scale now. They get on with their life while mine was nearly destroyed. Complaints have gone in so I have proof and I can get my story out because people would find it very hard to believe. I’m not perfect and I try to be a good person but I didn’t deserve to be treated like that. When they sent the paper work to the gp it said I wouldn’t engage I didnt help myself and their was note of their doctor saying medication won’t bring meaningful change so that’s why I’ve had a fight to even get any medication because the gp is reluctant to prescribe any. However I have started propanalol and I’m hoping this will help. I wouldn’t want to discourage anyone from going here but just be on your guard and remember policies and procedures will come before any patient

Went here for therapy, wasted money going each week for the lady to keep pressuring over things that were not relevant; seemed like she just wanted to study reactions and like the rest of most nhs workers failed to do anything they said they would including time keeping on appointments and the final letter. Glad I did waste my time writing one out like she was begging. Might as well ring Samaritans at least they listen

I did not receive any help from the therapist I was assigned to, and his final review letter was littered with spelling mistakes, inaccuracies and inconsistencies. I wish I'd been assigned a different therapist.
