I had nasal surgery under GA and everyone was so lovely. The ENT staff were great. On the day the theatre staff made me feel so comfortable. I was seen under the NHS here but was not made to feel any different to the private patients. Really glad I travelled all the way from Derby to be seen here. Thank you to everyone at the hospital

Just got home from having my second partial knee replacement at Shepton Mallet hospital. From the initial appointment to the surgery and after care it has been very positive. I was a nervous patient and was well looked after and my concerns taken seriously.
All of the staff show care and concern for their patients and are all pleasant and happy in their work.

Had my bunion surgery in December 2023 and July 2024. It was an amazing experience! I was so lucky to meet such a talented surgeon Gerard Lattouf, I have now beautiful feet and life without pain, will be grateful to him for the rest of my life 🙂
I woke up smoothly after GA, thanks to Maria and Cosmo, my appointments were never late or cancelled , everyone is so nice and friendly. Thank you.

I needed some corrective surgery on my foot which I was initially told would be not be available on the NHS. However, I had a successful referral from OASIS and the whole experience has been trouble free. Appointments all delivered on time with super friendly staff. I had my operation yesterday at Shepton Mallet and the theatre team were just fantastic ( at the age of 65 this was my first experience of a medical theatre). Special thanks to Mr Lattouf, Cosmo, Richard and Dimos the anaesthetist. There was a lady there too whose name I didn’t catch. I am indebted to you all.

I had bunion surgery mid July. I received the most excellent care, service and treatment throughout my experience. From initial consultation, pre op, operation and post op. The reception staff, nursing staff and the most excellent surgeon Dr Lattouf were professional, efficient and made me feel at ease on each visit. I thank you all so very much, I’ve recovered well and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your practice.

What an excellent hospital. All the staff were wonderful, from the receptionists to the surgeons bar none. Professional, happy staff, excellent care, the place was spotlessly clean and despite feeling ludicrously anxious, I was put at ease immediately. The cup of tea and biscuits after the procedure was fantastic.
This is hospital care at its finest, don't listen to the moaners and the haters! Shout-out especially to Zainab, Chris Parker and Abby ☺️

Chose to travel here from Plymouth to have total hip replacement surgery.
Much shorter waiting list than Plymouth hospitals. Shepton Mallet Treatment Centre also score outstanding in all categories.
They allowed me to be admmited the night before surgery to save an extra trip up for a pre surgery blood test.
I was on a 2 bed ward with ensuite bathroom and a beautiful veiw of the surrounding countryside.
You will need sat nav to find it though! as its tucked away behind a residential housing area.
Its about 2 hour trip back to Plymouth and the trip back home was a little uncomfortable, but the very short waiting list for hip replacement surgery far outways this!
