I would like to put on record my grateful thanks for the superb care and treatment I have received at Physio Excellence for a variety of issues. Beth's meticulous process of fact gathering in order to reach an informed and accurate diagnosis is impressive. She has enormously improved the condition of my back, which is now stronger than ever, and rarely causes significant problems. Beth also helps you to understand how your body works, and her skilfully targeted exercise plans are invaluable, and are built into my daily activities in order to maintain the improvements that have resulted from treatment.

I came to Physio Excellence soon after a hip replacement and found the advice/treatment invaluable, first to progress from using crutches and then, with the use of combined hydro therapy and regular physio exercises with Beth, to recover to full, even movement in a few months. Beth was also on hand to advise on suitable exercises to improve overall fitness and strength some months after the original sessions. I can't recommend enough her friendly but professional approach.

I originally came across Physio Excellence when Beth started a Pilates class in my village. Fast forward a number years, and I am still benefitting greatly from Beth's expertise in these classes. Not a natural or enthusiastic 'athlete', I appreciate greatly the graded exercises Beth gives each week, and her cheerful enthusiasm and positivity are an inspiration - even to me! I would strongly recommend her classes to those who are not used to regular exercise in their lives: the benefits are enormous.

I was referred by my orthopaedic consultant as I was having problems with my knees due to wear and tear from rugby/running. I was due to have steroid injections in both knees and possibly surgery to “tidy” up the joint spaces but he said to see how far we could go with physio. I was a little sceptical. However, Beth understood my needs straight away and we started with some exercises for me to do. I didn’t manage these every day and they were quite tough to start with. After a few weeks I noticed my knee pain had all but gone and with permission from Beth I started on the Couch to 5k. The exercises got tougher with each appointment and I’m not going to say it has been easy. There is no magic bullet but with expert guidance and support I am now running three times a week and playing tennis-no surgery and no injections. My legs are stronger and my knee pain is virtually zero. Beth has seen me about 7 times and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you!

I have been using Physio excellence for many years now and for various issues . I have always found them really professional and super friendly . I have had a whole range of treatments for issues ranging from carpal tunnel to shoulder problems , to hip problems some of which the team have helped me get referrals for surgery and some which were resolved through exercise or through acupuncture . Each member of the team has listened carefully to what I have to say and taken time to properly understand before administering treatment or recommending referral to a specialist when they could not help through physio . Absolutely first class , I would highly recommend this clinic .

I joined Beth's Zoom Beginners class during lockdown on the recommendation of a friend. I have found her classes very beneficial for stretching my aging body! She has a varied plan for each session, focussing on particular parts of the body each week as well as a general stretch and exercise.

Hi Heather, I am writing to thank you for your invaluable help and advice.
I have now returned to playing golf and whilst I am still experiencing some dis-comfort following my Bio Poly surgery I feel my knee is getting stronger as each day goes by. I am continuing with your exercise regime as this has been so effective in getting the strength and flexibility back into my knee. I was originally referred to Physio Excellence by a shoulder surgeon & shoulder specialist. I wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge Lisa Dawe's professionalism, her holistic approach and skills as a physiotherapist. Throughout my healing journey, Lisa has been the one constant and my faith in her has increased throughout. Her desire to help me recover is very evident and I very much appreciate the self-help tips & home exercises which have benefitted my physical and mental health, as well as my emotional health and well-being.
