I just wanted to say how surprised but delighted I was to find that Pelton and Fellrose Practice offer a weekly specialist women’s health clinic when I enquired recently about HRT. I know that this service can be a bit sporadic and somewhat of a postcode lottery so I feel very fortunate that our Practice offers this much under-provided but desperately needed facility. I was offered an appointment within a couple of weeks compared to friends in other areas who have had to wait over 6 months. Dr Leese discussed everything fully and explained in detail what my options were. I was given time and consideration. I just wanted to stress how valuable I consider this service to be for all women in the area and to thank you for providing it.

constantly fobbed off. Issues never resolved. You start to get miserable and then angry. I have moved a lot and been registered at about 8 different surgeries over last 30 years. 3 really tip top. 2 of them fine. Other two so so but no complaints. HOWEVER without any doubt at all this surgery the WORST I have ever consulted. There is never any resolution for issues arising.

I have been a patient here for nearly three years, and I can obviously only give feedback regarding the way that my wife and I have found the surgery. My wife finds the surgery to be a breath of fresh air compared to her previous doctors located near Wrekenton. I stayed with my doctor in Darlington for years, as it was excellent ... and that's how I find Pelton and Fellrose. I do wish that they would carry out a yearly 'well man clinic' which my previous doctors did.

Dr Wild used someone elses medical records to fill in a dvla form for me. Back and forth with HC and Dvla, resulting in C1 driving entitlement being revoked for 5 years.
Last form from dvla was filled in by...Dr Wild, showing he wasn't responsible for his original mistake!
Centre manager told me that my attitude could lead to me being barred! AFTER I told her I was leaving as couldn't trust anyone at this centre.
Appear to have cancelled my repeat prescription of statins!

Denied basic care, receptionists with massive egos who will defend each other even when proven wrong! Do not use this surgery if you have long term illnesses or pregnant! No empathy or care given whatsoever!

It is a tough general practice landscape at the moment. I feel that Pelton and Fellrose Medical Group are providing the best care that they can.

Every staff interaction has been very positive. They have taken care of my medical needs over the past few years.

I am incredibly thankful for the medical services they provide.

Really really bad surgery. Can only get face to face appointments if you really push. And when then they tend to be days after you need them. The doctors do not care, do not listen to you and do not want to know. You are a burden to them and majority have a horrible condescending attitude when you speak to them on the phone. I have been here 20 years now as I always had the better the devil you know mentality but now I don't trust any doctor in this place. Cant register with another surgery as too full but now I find myself (because I can't get to see anyone) ringing 111 going elsewhere.
Most of the nurses and practicitioners are lovely, the reception staff -some are lovely but some are horrid.
If you want a good family doctor surgery then go else where.

An excellent practice providing the best care they can with wholly inadequate levels of funding from Government. Phoned, called back, appointment offered, seen GP, prescription issued - all within 40minutes. The staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. A big thank you for the hard work that all staff put in.

This practice is lacking in compassion to the point of negligence with none existent follow-ups for serious health issues IE Barret's oesophagus and type two diabetes with no guidance on dietary requirements etc whatsoever!!
