Rude receptionist. I rang at 8.10 ,told them I had a bad chest and was struggling to breath and she told me they had no appointments and to go to a pharmacy to get some medication, but you can't get over the counter antibiotics so abit pointless. Would not recommend this GP surgery, I will be changing to a better one ASAP.

The other reviews are a bit harsh, I've always had an amazing service here. The receptionists are always lovely and do their best and the doctors and nurses have helped me numerous times. I personally have always had a very good experience with Padarn Surgery.

Extremely rude receptionists who don't listen and make assumptions (except for the one young man I'd spoken to who listens and is understanding). Always late on prescriptions. Some doctors are okay, but some are incredibly belittling, undermining, and again, do not listen and make assumptions (the student doctors I've seen are better than the ones doing it years, they actually listen).

I was a student at Aberystwyth University and I came to this GP surgery because I have OCD which was being untreated. I told the GP that I was studying psychology and he joked that I probably knew more about it than him.
I was trying to get medication to help my mental illness. Never got it from here. Got it from my GP at home after I moved back.

Absolute waste of money in this place. Doctors are as much use as a fart in a bottle. I've never wanted help so much in my life for mental health and these doctors do nothing. Asked them to forward my details to a psychiatrist and been waiting months even though my details and diagnosis are really stressful. I may as well jump on a cliff head first than seak professional help. Joke of a place.

I've never experienced a such a dismissive doctor in my life, I came with my partner for a metal health appointment (which she is incredibly hesitant to go to due to constant dismissal)
I have now seen this with my own eyes and advise anyone with a mental health issue to switch surgeries as soon as possible as you will be made to feel worse once you leave Padarn surgery.

Diabolical. My sister was at risk with her health and they said she was wasting doctors time! Absolutely terrible service the receptionist was rude and didn't let her book an appointment. Now she's suffering and I hope you improve or we will all be formally complaining. Absolutely disgusting and ridiculous service her service user needs were in fact NOT met, that receptionist HAS to go

Absolutely appalling service from everyone at this practice. Doctor's attitude stinks. If you can go elsewhere, I strongly urge you to do so.
