Of all the organisations I was recommended during an ongoing mental health crisis this was by far the worst. As another reviewer suggested a few years ago all the staff I encountered on the phone were on a spectrum from sarcastic and heavily patronising to unhelpful and rude. Well over a year and a half in waiting for the main talking therapy service in cornwall to feel the equivalent of spat at and told to go home. Only count myself lucky my life wasn't at stake at the time as it surely will be with others trying to access a service like this. Some of these staff have blood on their hands.

Don’t agree on missed appointment policy.

I generally missed the appointment I had due to ongoing issues and they said I need to do another self referral..

My question is why… the self referral will be the same from when I originally put it in. your just delaying time, this is what stops people getting help. If you generally cared about peoples mental
Health you wouldn’t allow them to go through the process twice and wait even longer.

Beyond a joke. Very long waiting times for serious issues. Yet 2 weeks and you get an appointment if you just have a minor issue. People who are at the office who you can contact by phone are incredibly rude and vague. Been waiting 3 months for councilling with no appointment in sight. Don’t bother asking for help from these people, not worth the hassle! . Rung many times and never get a call back when they say they will. No updating as to what’s going on with your care at all even when you ask they lie to cover their backs, had appointment over a month ago I didn’t go to apparently.. total lie as my GP would have evidence of this appointment and doesn’t. I received no letters or emails about it either or anything about not attending. Update- Still waiting (since October 2019 now)

Get reffered by the NHS to these people and get a letter telling me that I will have to wait 2 years. I have also been left on a "we will contact you when we are free". It's a good thing i'm not suicidal. I will update this review if this changes

Just finished cbt therapy for anxiety and depression with an amazing young lady (jennifer dickson) she being a trainee is definitely in the right profession polite kind and has been the most amazing help for me to help towards a more positive life.

I do not recommend these at all, they knew 3 years ago I was at serious risk from my then partner and did nothing despite me reaching out to them... That night he assaulted me again... 6 months later they denied any knowledge

can't thank outlook enough , i've been a few times and the lady i see has been amazing and so understanding with everything , and her advice has stuck with me and helped me so much over the years. If anyone gets a chance to use this service , grab it with both hands , they are awesome xxx
