NhS talking therapies, merseycare. Absolutely terrible and breached protected privileged information, what we talked about was fed on by Emma to my employer. Avoid at all costs, what you speak about is not confidential.

6 weeks into my CBT therapy, and 1 day per week only... My appointment is cancelled. 2 weeks later and still no new appointment.
Wanted to focus on my depression but the ''CBT practitioner' (not an actual counselling therapist) wanted to focus only on my anxiety.

I understand that there are subjects that they might be more knowledgeable about but to just steer my 'therapy' towards my anxiety only after admitting my depression is actually more of an issue for me... Just seems unprofessional, as if they just want to focus on what they want to do. That's the impression I get.

Not really having a beneficial experience with this service so far.

Received a test of my appointment and time. Two hours before my appointment, I get a text 'reminder' telling me it's another day. No prior warning that my assessment was moved. This isn't okay - I had to book time off just to be able to do the 45-min assessment and mentally prepare myself for it and without notice, I have to plan it immediately within two days.

I was annoyed with the way they insisted on having a phone assessment with me, despite the fact I was originally going to them due to anxiety which includes speaking on the phone, but they insisted. Ofcourse my anxiety was confirmed when speaking on the phone as the woman speaking to me was really cold and unfriendly, the last thing you need when confiding your personal problems, she was just like "What do you mean by that?!" in a really short tone. It's just simply not for me and don't like the way they do things there, not surprised to see it has low ratings either. Never again.

Waiting room is a bit pokey. A water machine would not go amiss.
