I had my first massage appointment on Monday for a sport therapy massage with Alison . I can’t thank her enough. She ran through what my issues were (an aching shoulder) , she checked my posture . Gave me the most incredible massage and then sent on a sheet via email with an exercise routine with pictures to follow to strengthen my muscles.
She is very knowledgeable and approachable and felt completely comfortable in her presence which is key for me .

It has been some time since my first treatment with Alison, and I have to say I will definitely be back when I am next in Bude surfing (hopefully not too long). As a trained clinical sports massage therapist and having studied physiotherapy it is really hard to find someone who is simultaneously able to discuss my ailments on a technical level whilst also being intuitive with their understanding of a person's needs as a whole. We sat for some time and discussed the complex nature of my past year and my physical representations. Alison suggested focusing on relaxation and relieving the symptoms of specific troubles in my body. Her treatment was informed and intuitive, with a skilled depth of touch and open feedback to tailor it as she went. All things I hope for in a massage treatment. I had suffered with Plantar fasciitis for over 12 months when I started treatment with Alison. I had tried exercises found online and stretches but nothing seemed to improve my injury. Needless to say I was a little pessimistic about how successful my treatment would be, but I felt I had nothing to lose.
