My 5 month old baby has been waiting for a referral form for over 5 days and the weekend is about to hit with no promise I’ll have one on Monday ... They just don’t care .. it’s easy to say sorry on the phone with no action.

Ohh … and only the secretary had the ability to do referrals, (what power!!!) so if this person is on the sick / out of office, no one else is capable!! No deputy to stand in, what a joke.

By farthe worst gp I have ever been with, phone lines are constantly down or just off, can never get an appointment and when you do the "doctors" google your symptoms to get a diagnosis/medication options

Just been for my appointment what I thought was 17:00 but was for 14:30. The lovely Receptionist help me and got a nurse to help cant name her but the one with the dark long her seen me even though she was on her way home and went out of her way to see me a massive thank you ❤️

Whole place is just shocking, some doctor think they are entitled to write whatever they want on ur account, “attention seeking” no I am acknowledging that I want help and want to change and your just slandering me on my own report.
Furthermore doctors trying to tell you, your searching up your disease symptoms and not to listen to them.
Even though the specialist provided them, it really doesn’t make sense, does it now?

Always feel safe, valued, and respected at this surgery 🙏 they have always been 100% .I know getting appointments can be difficult, but this is an issue with the county in general at the moment, sadly. I don't think it's fair that people give bad reviews based on this. I can honestly say that this is the best Doctors practice I have been a patient of, and I have been with the practice for over 10 years now. Hope this genuine review helps 🙏 x

Magical experience at Gp Murdishaw Health Centre.

It is a parody of GP. They basically advise you to call 111, so no bother trying to book an appointment.
Call today for three weeks in a row and same answer, all appointments were taken for today. HOW? 0830 the line is open, before that it just cut you off, I was on the call waiting for 20 min and that how those all gone. I was there in person 4 times at 0800, no one in the waiting room, and they open at 0800 all appointments gone.

So Murdishaw GP Practice is run by magician I guess, who just make all those appointments disappear or they just have one a day so a little like national lottery.

But they always fully staffed at the reception, I will give them that.

Hard to get the first appointment, but once you have, you are booked in every time. The staff are fab. Friendly caring, make you feel at ease. I feel so sorry for the reception staff and office staff. Makes my toes curl when I hear people being rude. No need for it. They can’t magic appointment. I heard one shouting how bad the parking is. It wasn’t the receptionist fault 🤦‍♀️😩

In 60 years this is the worst medical practice I have been with. You can not get an appointment for love nor money. I have been trying to get an appointment for two weeks, I ring in the morning and on the off chance I get through I am told two things. Firstly that there are no appointments and secondly, that I need to ring 111NHS.

I have rung 111 NHS twice from the early morning call at just after 8am. The first time the called back at 9:58 in the evening when we had gone to bed. My phone goes onto silent at 9:30 as my wife has to get up early and tired of cold callers.

The second time they returned the call at 2:18 in the morning!!!

I have lost faith in the doctors service at Murdishaw and also the 111 NHS line.

I had some difficulty due to the process of booking myself in at the desk for an appointment as I wanted my problems to stay confidential and so I made a polite complaint. I feel this is something that needs to change throughout 'all' practices however I can't fault the service since I went through the proper channels.
My dad has just registered at this practice too and he is being given very good care so right now I'm giving 5 stars as its well deserved.

Patients treated like numbers, rather than with compassion and understanding. Doctors and receptionists seriously lacking in interpersonal skills. Inaccurate recording of patient information and consultations. Patients attending the surgery are often seeking reassurance to their health concerns, only to receive medical gaslighting, leaving them feeling more worried than they did prior to attending the surgery. The continuity of care is lacking due to the consistently changing doctors and nurses who work within the surgery. When raising concerns a lack of ownership is taken, with little to no action taken to resolve any concerns raised. From what I’ve experienced the surgery is not open to constructive feedback from the people using the service, and has either no way or wish to implement any changes to improve the service for its service users.

Find it hard to book appointment to see my own Doctor and the women staff who are on in the morning won't help you to see your own Doctor even I say I don't mind waiting a few weeks.

Excellent Service was provided to me by Murdushaw Health Centre from start to finish.
Had an appointnent booked very quickly seen by my GP on time 7.30 on the dot and referral done sane day and my next appt was 7 days from appt .
Excellent Thankyou for the outstanding service provided to me .
