Following a challenging crossroads in my life, I surrendered to the idea that I needed to seek help. Help was found, My needs were met & expectations were exceeded when I started therapy with Michael Fieldhouse. From a welcoming environment to a truly professional service, Michael provides a safe space to feel comfortable to delve into the depths of the issues you feel you need to address at your own pace. When asked why he does what he does, Michael responded "It's a privilege" & that genuinely exudes from him. He cares. You're not going through the typical cliché's attached to therapy of "How do you feel about that?", Michael genuinely cared & challenged me to assess some of my thought patterns with empathy & candour. His memory for details is astounding which is emblematic of his professionalism & desire to help. I'll be forever grateful for the help, guidance & kindness Michael showed me & my life has truly been enriched from having participated in Therapy with him. I hope that others are as fortunate as I have been to work with Michael & get the help they need. 5 Stars, couldn't recommend Mr. Fieldhouse enough.

Michael helped me through the breakdown in my marriage. This was one of the most stressful periods of my life. I had never been to a psychotherapist or counsellor before and was not sure how useful it would be. However, I’m glad I did it. As well as helping me work through what happened, I was able to identify areas for self-improvement and establish a plan to move on from this troubling period. While my marriage looks like it is over, my stress and anxiety levels have reduced, and I am now mentally stronger and calmer. Michael is a very good listener, has a remarkable memory for detail, is empathic and non-judgemental. Michael showed flexibility with my sessions, fitting me in according to need. I set the agenda and Michael provided support, challenge and useful suggestions for reflection. For those in a similar situation to mine, I would recommend Michael. While family and friends are an important source of support, it can be helpful to talk to an independent expert.
