I’ve been seeing Melanie for the past 5 month and I’m so proud with how much progress I’ve managed to make within this time thanks to my sessions with Melanie. Ive learnt a lot of tools and skills from Melanie which I’ve come to really enjoy doing which I have been using on a consistent basis over the past few months.

The environment is a very cosy private room which is exactly the kind of space I was looking for when I was originally searching for a counsellor.

I couldn’t recommend Melanie enough to anyone as I wouldn’t be in the position I currently am without Melanie’s help and sessions.

I feel so at ease when I speak to Melanie, the idea of counselling used to terrify me but Melanie's counselling room and her ability to listen and empathise with my situations genuinely makes me feel so at ease. I started to see Mel towards the end of last year after a particularly difficult time in my relationship, I was very apprehensive at first as I’ve always had a difficult time expressing feelings and I’m a very private person. I had no idea how to articulate my issues but I was made really comfortable almost immediately. Mel is very easy to talk to and in no time I felt completely at ease talking through my problems with her, just being able to talk about my issues was a huge weight lifted from the start. She has given me tools and techniques to work on communication which in turn has literally been life changing. My partner has been suggesting counselling for years and I was dead set against it as the thought of it filled me with anxiety but I can honestly say I really do wish I had listened. I initially planned to come to a handful of sessions as a last ditch attempt to salvage my relationship but I have continued to come weekly with a regular time slot as I feel I get so much from the sessions, coming regularly has helped me deal with many issues that have risen along the way in all different aspects of my life and my relationship is thriving as a consequence

What can I say about Melanie, just fantastic! Since starting to see Melanie my reasons for seeing her have changed massively. I started out struggling with work life balance and ended with the break up of a relationship, Melanie took everything in her stride and was able to help me cope with everything that was thrown at me. I am now in a really good place and that is in no small part down to Melanie. She is balanced in her approach and knows how to ask the difficult questions and challenge my decisions to really help me understand my thought process. I couldn't recommend Melanie highly enough.

Mel is a really lovely person which i think is the most important part of feeling comfortable speaking to someone. For me it is a perfect place to talk about my problems with anxiety where I receive no judgement and only receive help from Melanie. She is a very good listener and she really makes you feel like you can just talk - which i didn’t realise i needed so much before i started with her. 10/10 very comfortable environment and nice person!
