The staff are incredibly friendly, thorough professionals. They helped to make me feel at ease when talking to them and listened carefully to what I had to say and gave sound advice. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars, is due to the delay in getting the appointment to begin with and the delay in report writing afterwards. If they managed to streamline this and be more efficient, I would have no hesitation in providing 5 stars.

As for the help and guidance, I cannot thank the team enough!

Basically fobbed my child off before we even reached the individual assessment so I knew what to expect from the outcome weeks before we got it! Visited her in school and said they didn’t see signs of Autism. They saw her ‘ good ‘ side and think they know everything. Try see her in a meltdown or emotional crisis and tell me nothing is wrong with my child. Didn’t do an ADHD assessment either despite their website saying they assess for all relevant conditions in one assessment. Took from May to end of August to just send the report and all they’ve done is suggest a sensory audit when there is far more needed than that. Absolute waste of time. Now my child has to endure more months of waiting for assessments they should have done and be deprived of the help and support she needs. Disgusted.

Just got my daughters report back and highly disappointed. What an utter waste of time this process has been. Took me 20 months to get to the assessment process for my daughter (10) only for her to be dismissed because she masks.
My daughter masks everywhere but home or with people she is really close and comfortable with the environment she is in. Nothing I said in the parent meeting has been taken into consoderstion at all. Total waste having a 90mins parents meeting when I should have been in hospital with my dying grandma instead I was sat in the hospital car park doing my part to support my daughter for it all to be ignored with no acknowledgement of her masking other than mum reports she masks. (This is a child who broke her foot at school and masked that she was injured for 5 hours until she was with me. Sge was in that much pain it took me until 2.30am to get her to sleep (after hospital visit) and needed to sleep on me to regulate herself)
I was also asked in my Parent meeting about doing a dual ASD/ADHD assessment which i requested yet the report is only ASD based and no ADHD assessment had taken place.
I've worked in the disabilities field for 20+ years. I've been part of the diagnosis team for ASD/ADHD myself with my jobs roles. My partner and multiple friends work within disabilities one even being an ASD teacher who all agree with me that my daughter has ASD and highly masks when in outside environments and away from me. My ASD teacher friend covers my daughters school and is at the ready to put things in place to support her yet cant until the diagnosis which hasnt come to support my daughter with what she needs. So here I am having to fight even more and probably wait another 18months or longer which will impact my daughter significantly as she will be starting high school in September next year and needs the support mechanisms in place prior to going. She is already in total panic about starting high school and she has a full school year to go yet before it is even relevant.
My daughter has been massively let down

Having done some additional research about Mantle and speaking to several other families since her assessment I have come across lots of negatives and if your child masks then do not choose mantle because they don't take a child masking or take parents information into consideration at all within their assessments

Finished my assessment and asked what support would be available to me if I received a diagnosis.
"Not much, honestly."
Perfect summation of this practice.
