Quite simply, Luka gives the best combined aromatherapy/deep tissue massage. I prefer to see a female masseur and have seen quite a number the years, probably more than 30 now. Whenever I travel, I seek out new masseurs; it’s a bit of an indulgence of mine, as everyone does something a little different, but no one in the whole area- all of Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Somerset or Wales, has been as gifted in healing and massage as Luka. She is a truly remarkable woman, welcoming, so knowledgeable in all aspects relevant to her craft- and her hands! It’s like she has the ability to see through your body and into all the tight places, and under her skilled hands, even difficult to reach knots melt away. I see her whenever I can afford to, and will continue to do so as long as she practices. My only slight concern about writing this review is that once people know how awesome she is, she might be fully booked when I want to see her!

I had problems with my shoulder and back sustained from an injury nearly 20 years before i started seeing Luka. This injury had an emotional content as well as the physical. Luka was the right person for me to see as she was both willing and able to work with the emotional side of the injury. She brought not only her wealth of experience and knowledge to helping me but also her sensitivity and warmth. She helped me to access something in my body which gave permission for the relaxation necessary for the release of my old pains.

I had seen a lot of therapists of various kinds during that 20 years, many of them had had no affect on my body , and some, even worse, had had a detrimental affect. Luka is the only person who has managed to give me relief from my pain, because she is working on all levels, but also because i felt incredibly safe in her hands. With her i have a wonderful sense of being able to trust another person with my poor tender body.

If you only ever see one massage therapist in your life make it Luka!

The massage is so beneficial, not only for easing physical aches and pains but for enabling the release of emotional baggage where tensions have been building up over a long period of time. Luka is very talented and has amazing compassion and empathy. I have been having massages on a monthly basis for over a year and find that it helps me to sleep better and feel healthier on every level. It is something that I would not like to do without now.

Extremely professional and sympathetic to my various back issues. Luka knows what she is doing and how to administer the different techniques she's trained it. I'm not a big massage fan but Luka made me relaxed and, more importantly, provided the resolve I needed to ease the muscle twinges and aching shoulder. Definitely recommend.

I came to Luka for the first time in 2014 when I was going through a difficult period both physically and emotionally, and continued to have regular appointments until I moved up north at the end of 2017. I have experience of a lot of different therapies and massage and Luka is without doubt on another level. Her intuitive and compassionate approach and touch really meet you where you are and support you in a completely person-centred way (as well as getting to all the right places). The way that Luka works is particularly good for people who may be feeling disassociated from their body as I was. Thanks to her, I was able to explore, understand and resolve some of the long term physical (and emotional) pain I held. But it didn’t take long to feel a difference. I walked out of even that first session feeling lighter and more in my body. It changed my life in many ways and I just can’t say how wonderful it feels in a touch-deprived world to find someone who is able to provide this kind of supportive and nurturing body therapy. I am nearly 65, and over the years as a builder I have acquired a few injuries to my neck and shoulders. for nearly 20 years I have not been able to put my arms straight up, and then I met Luca .she seemed determined to sort this out & after just two massages I felt a significant improvement . I have had about six now & can put my arms straight up.she gets you to think how you feel about your body & lifestyle & it made so much sense.It really does work. Luka is a truly amazing lady who is so passionate about what she does it will leave you speechless . Long may she continue .
