I visited LM Therapies for the first time today for a tension release back and shoulder massage following recovery from an injury and I wasn’t disappointed. Leigh was lovely and clearly knows her stuff- she listened to what I wanted her to focus on then tailored my massage to my requirements. I’ve had a few disappointing massages at other places but this was great and I’ll definitely be back, whether it’s for a specific problem or just as a relaxing treat.

This is my second treatment with Leigh can't recommend her highly enough. She is extremely professional and ensures you are relaxed and pampered throughout the treatment. I attended a ‘Me Time’ treatment package with Leigh on the morning of Friday 14.04.2023.

My intention was to unwind, relax and prepare mentally and physically for the chaos of my day out at the races (Grand National) on 15.04.2024.

I had all kinds of treatments to follow that day 14.04.2023 nails, eyebrows, hair etc with other establishments.

Whilst these type of things for most would be pampering and relaxing, it’s not for me.

I have PTSD and trauma related issues, which has left me quite anxious to go out alone and away from my ‘safe space’ (home)

This isn’t something I want to have a hold of my life forever more.

So I try and challenge myself to do small tasks outside of my comfort zone alone as much as I can.

For many, this is just an everyday normal task, to me, it takes a lot of mental preparation.

So, I decided to treat myself to some relaxing “me time” - which at the same time would see me going out of my comfort zone too.

I am so glad I did.

Leigh is really amazing at what she does.

You can tell she is passionate about her trade and her clients.

Her whole aura is calming, professional, gentle, friendly, approachable and none judgmental.

I told Leigh a bit about me and what I was battling.

There was no judgement, Leigh sat and listened and took a genuine interest in me.

I’ve had many massages and facials over the years, especially before I developed this horrible anxiety of not wanting to go out alone.

This was honestly the best, most genuine, most relaxing and fulfilling experience to date.

I am now going to ensure this is something I do for me often..Leigh created a safe space away from my ‘usual’ safe space for me.

A place I don’t need to worry, a place I can let the worries release with her support and expertise.

I truly felt this was mental health therapy, as well as just massage therapy.
