Going to share this at my own detriment!!
The restaurant at Lindsey Lodge is fantastic, I don’t think people are aware that this is open to the public. It is lite and fresh
You don’t have to be visiting a patient or work there to be able to use it.
As you would expect in a hospice the facilities are clean and immaculate.
The restaurant is run by volunteers and staff alike. Sarah / volunteer waited on the table and was so lovely, attentive and efficient.
My wife and I both had braised steak, mash and fresh vegetables, the steak was melt in your mouth.
I even forced myself to have a pudding, fruit crumble and custard, great.
What great value, great food and great service.
All profits go to support the hospice.

I have just returned home following two weeks of intense IV Antibiotic treatment.
I am struggling to find the right words to compliment the procedures and staff.
Everyone I had contact with was amazing. I was treated with respect and understanding.
I felt like a person, not just a cell on a spreadsheet.
I made friends with the staff and I will never forget them.

A care practice that really is care..
Came into Lindsay lodge a week ago today.. breathing difficulties due to my lung fibrosis low on mentality side of my illness very emotional at times.. breathing problems were getting pretty serious.. the staff here from the reception to the doctor was just incredible.. seriously each and everyone of them are so sincere so caring
I am going home today strong and confident totally different to the wreck that came in.. and thank you to each and every member of staff.. you have given me back my pride and my dignity.. home with a smile 😊.. and leave behind with you my gratitude.. sincere thanks to you all..

5 Star treatment for our loved one at Lindsey Lodge Hospice. The perfect environment is created, with thoughtful approach to care, interaction and decoration to the main spaces and the individual rooms that we experienced in the inpatient unit. We thought the option to have music of our choice playing via an Alexa made the room feel more personal. The staff we interacted with were considerate, informed and generous with their time, explaining what was happening and why. They kept us regularly informed via phone and made it clear contact from us was allowed and encouraged. Thank you for making a difficult time for us as a family more manageable.

Called in here for a coffee, and ended up having something to eat,

The care and support, respect they gave my wife when she was taken there last Saturday was absolutely fantastic. The staff are awesome and thank you so much for your help and support to me and my family who sadly passed away on the 1st February is second to none. Would like to thank Dr Adcock for being so honest about everything.
