Kim inspire has turned me round from someone who didn't want to get out of bed due to my low mood to someone that now helps others. I haven't finish my journey and have a way to go but feel that I have found the place to do it.
KIM inspire now has a workshop for DIY skills, A Fix it shop and people can bring things to us to be fixed or turned into something else. This brings out the skills within people and takes your mind away from the everyday thing that we have trouble with. Even to get away from the issues we have for a couple of hours can give the reset that's needed. It also gives you the confidence to do a bit more with no pressure.

I highly recommend this organisation it has helped me so much over the last 20 yrs .. from becoming a client and enabling me to deal with my mental health helping me gain my confidence back after a break down to progress forward and gain my life back via joining in and trusting social groups in a safe environment .
They in the past enabled me to gain confidence to want to give back via becoming a volunteer to help others ... I then became well enough to run a group at Kim which i thoroughly enjoyed whilst getting my life back together and now Iam one of their group faciliators ... I can't thank them enough . It is a very safe & nuturing environment and all the staff are fab ... thanks to all Kim staff that have helped me on my journey and still continue today .... Jan 🙏

All the staff at KIM are great, very friendly and helpful and obviously really care about the clients. There are so many different activities/groups availible its great. You are sure to find something that interests you and that will help with your mental health and wellbeing.

Obviously can’t handle criticism as the truthful review keeps being taken down by the organisation I suspect I am reviewing. This is the fifteenth time I have reposted as they quite clearly don’t like negative truthful feedback. They have blocked me on Twitter even though I have never left negative comments about them and quite clearly they don’t want to address their failings as an organisation. They made me paranoid as I questioned what had happened to lottery funding they were granted that was intended to be used for group activities. I was deemed disruptive and told to leave the group which the CEO admitted this was the reason as I contacted the lottery, yet when I put in a FOI request she failed to disclose the reason I was asked to leave because I contacted them. The men’s group manager had asked me to give a speech to the armed forces covenant on a Friday where I quote he said I was really good with people within the group, yet come the following Tuesday I was deemed disruptive and rolled my eyes. Complaints are all held in house so no chance of a fair hearing ,and when I did complain, low and behold everyone was made aware of how to follow the complaints procedure something that had never been in place before. I was asked to spy on another charity in the area as the men’s manager was somewhat envious they had a lot of funding and even going so far as being labelled useless by the men’s manager. Yet when I was deemed disruptive and rolled my eyes, I was told to approach this other charity as it was geared for my needs. Hypocrisy at its highest level.

I went to an Aglow meeting. This is a Christian meeting just for ladies. The place was clean and comfortable.
