My Weimaraner, Freya, has been with Tom since February 2016, when she was 16 months old. Initially Tom worked with others, Liz (Animal Phyz) and Jo (Pet Waves), as Freya was recovering from a major shoulder operation.
At 22 months she ended up having a shoulder fusion, she stayed with Tom and he helped her recover her mobility alongside with Jo at Pet Waves Hydrotherapy.
Freya and I had great trust in Tom right from the beginning, he has total empathy with her and she adores him as she knows he is there to help her, as it’s tough on her as an active dog, to only have 3 good legs and we know it could cause more problems as she gets older.
She is now 5 years old and she only sees Tom, every 8/10 weeks. He helps to maintain her mobility and I have the piece of mind that he would let me know any change that he may notice that might happen due the stress on her weak shoulder.
I can’t recommend Tom highly enough! Freya always keeps a look out for him and gives a squeaks with delight when he turns up.........you can’t ask for anything more for your precious companion.
