Kathryn helped me when I needed an experienced ear and direction following a failed relationship. Her considered and thoughtful guidance and understanding was not only helpful to me, but reassuring and more than adequate to allow me to find the strength to move forward in my life. Being local to me made choosing her as a counsellor even better however I would gladly have travelled to see her. Personally for me Kathryn has been the perfect therapist! I have tried a couple of councillors elsewhere however something with her just clicked, I was able to open up with her about things I thought I never would. She is understanding, open minded and makes you see things differently. I am now on the road to a happier and healthier me and I cannot thank her enough ❤️

I’ve seen Kathryn twice over the last few years and most recently for the last 5 months for some complex issues. She has been amazing and have helped to make sense of the difficulties that I have been addressing. She is intelligent, highly trained, objective and incredibly supportive. Kathryn is a warm, welcoming person, going to see a Counsellor for the first time is scary and she made me feel very comfortable. She is experienced & knowledgeable to be able to try different approaches to help you be able to speak without feeling judged. She guides you through thought processes to identify the actual hidden issues and find your own solutions.

Kathryn has made a huge difference to my life.
I chose the style of counselling that I wanted, face to face, and weekly.
I always leave a session with some ‘homework’ which is basically continuing the session by adapting her advice and skills to daily life.
Always leave feeling better than when I walked in.

Kathryn helped me over a period of 6 months with a family members addiction and my own feelings of self worth. She was very proactive, understanding and non judgemental and gave me a different perspective I still approach life with now our sessions are over. Kathryn is so friendly, patient and knowledgeable. It was very daunting starting counselling but she put me at ease and made me feel heard probably for the first time in my 50 odd years.She helped me to learn to manage my anxiety and come to terms,with childhood trauma. Helping me to recognise triggers and reframe thinking giving me a toolbox to help me through life.
