I have been training with James for the last six months mainly concentrating on lifting weights. James is highly knowledgeable about all things fitness and has created a programme that continues to be varied, demanding and fun. My aim has been to increase muscle and ultimately bone density. I have learnt to lift correctly and by repeated emphasis on the technique James has shown that I can safely progress with the amount I lift. The sessions are enjoyable but always focussed on my goals.

A big shout out for James, what a top guy, he not only motivates everyone to take care of themselves, he also encourages others to take part in activities. Thanks to James he took the lead on motivating everyone in a recent charity rowing challenge for # SmileforJoel and he also managed to get even more people involved.

I had never considered a PT until I saw James with his clients in the gym and thought I would give it a go. I have had weekly sessions for 6 months and have had some really positive results. James is motivational, knowledgeable and varies my routine to keep me interested. I would highly recommend James if you are considering a PT!

I’ve been working with James for the last couple of months since becoming a member at the gym. Our sessions are always enjoyable and focused on my individual goals which we agreed from the beginning. His coaching style is really positive and professional and this has helped me progress rapidly as I have felt my strength, fitness and flexibility improving with each session which is incredibly rewarding. Tracking my progress is simple via the app he uses and I particularly like how he always checks in to see how I’m getting on outside of our sessions giving quality advice and encouragement which I find very motivational. I would definitely recommend James to anyone looking for a friendly and supportive PT to help them achieve their fitness goals.

I have been training with James for a few months now and it’s been great. The sessions are always challenging ensuring you get the most out of your workouts.

My work involves a lot of travel which makes it difficult to consistently get to the gym but with the use of the app and James checking in with me whilst I am away, I can stay on track with the plan even when I’m away from home.

Overall great guy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

As a new client who has only been with James for a few weeks I can honestly say that he has made me realise my potential at the gym. This has increased my confidence and drive to het myself back in the gym. James is always professional, punctual and more importantly still able to have a good laugh whilst making sure my form is on point. What I like the most is the emphasis on quality over quantity. For too long my focus was probably on more sets and more reps whilst substituting my form which I know now was the wrong approach. Keep up the great work and look forward to our training together! James has been supportive and challenging from the first session. Since starting my sessions 2 months ago I have seen great improvement not only in weight loss but also strength and flexibility. Each week he strives for me to push myself whenever I can which has led to 4 inch reduction on my waist alone. Can’t wait to see where my journey goes.
