Dear Val, thankyou for your concern. Rather than seeking to establish my file (which would breach data protection law) , I suggest that efforts are made to verify which counsellors have been reported to the BACP, before allowing them to access your client base. It is also the centre's responsibility to ensure that their clients' vulnerabilities are protected . You have a duty of care towards your service users. My experience at your centre was appauling. Please ensure processes are put in place so checks are made to establish prior complaints against counsellors. Kind regards

Unfortunately, not all counsellors are of the same standard. In life, we experience all types of personalities, often without knowing the full extent of their background or character. This can be applied the same principle to counsellors, who are self-employed and hire space at the centre. I had a really bad experience with a counsellor at the centre, who just lied about it afterwards. I made a formal complaint to the BACP, which was partially upheld. So sad, not at all the ethical standards I had hoped for.

Sadly, this centre wouldn't allow us to bring our babies into the building. Which is clear discimination.

If they don't care about our children. It shows they have very little care for the adults.

I'm very glad we didn't use their services

I had a massage with Hazel and a session with one of the other therapists. Very calm, relaxing centre, and the treatment sessions were amazing. I enjoyed my sessions, and would recommend the centre to anybody.
