Jo has an incredible knowledge around the complex subject of anxiety. She also has a deep understanding as to how to support children, teens and adults who are struggling. Her knowledge and expertise does not stop at a theoretical level, she also has an amazing toolbox at hand to support clients in the day to day. Jo is also a great listener and beautifully sensitive to each person’s story.
I highly recommend her!

I have really benefited from working with Jo. She provided just what I needed to get my parenting on track and gave me more confidence in what I was already doing. She is a fountain of invaluable advice. I would highly recommend her services.

Absolutely fabulous! Jo is super amazing and could not recommend her parenting support highly enough.
She is calm, focused, skillful, knowledgeable, experienced, able to keep us on track, super generous with time, materials and guidance. We learned massively on every session during our bespoke block of 6 even though we have done 'hand-and-hand' for many years. We will carry on by monthly basis as it is too valuable to miss. Contact Jo now if you considering parenting guidance.

I met with Jo to help with my sons severe anxiety, which was lifelimiting at the time.
Jo was a quiet strength for me. She listened attentively and was able to draw on her own experiences and knowledge to help me at a dark time during my parenting journey. Jo worked at a pace that didn't overwhelm me and which I could then slowly implement the changes she suggested to ultimately help my son.
Jo helped me understand what anxiety really was and the origins of it, which helped me to become closer to my son and help him to feel understood and not alone.
My sons journey is not over and never will be, but we are far better equipped now thanks to Jos help.
We still continue to meet regularly.

Jo is professional, knowledgeable and really took the time to understand our son's needs and behavioural triggers, so she could help us come up with a plan to help him and us.

This week I attended Jo’s ‘From tantrums to tears’ workshop. I have been seeing increased anxious and aggressive behaviour in my child and I was keen to get some support to ensure my parenting was helping my child. Using the work of child development psychologist Dr Gordon Neufeld, Jo reframed these behaviours in the light of their root cause: frustration not being given a productive outlet. I found this extremely enlightening and at odds with the usual view of ‘bad’ behaviour in young children. It really resonated with what we have been experiencing recently. Jo was incredibly kind and helpful with also providing additional information about how to address and reduce anxiety. The only thing which could have improved the session, and if time allowed, would have been to have more real- life scenarios of enabling children to effect change and accept futility in practice, perhaps in a interactive format. Overall though, the workshop was very helpful and interesting.

I asked for help at a very desperate time with my son who was experiencing significant anxiety and anger/frustration. I feel incredibly lucky it was Jo who myself, and my son’s father, worked with over several months, due to the learning and the consequential positive results. We finished our work together a few months ago and yet the learning is still embedded in my mind and plays out daily in the way I interact with my son. Since the time we first spoke, and the time we finished, I have seen a significant reduction in my son’s anxiety and anger. My son has been on the waiting list for CAMHS for 2 years- however the work we have done with Jo has decreased the need for this service - significantly. Prior to meeting Jo, we felt that our only option was statutory services and the long waiting lists would mean we would experience continued frustration for all of the family - but she was so brilliant at coaching us to support my son to help him with his daily struggles. I can honestly say the techniques and strategies helped my son, and us, so much. Jo is incredibly empathetic, driven with her experience and learning. I find myself thinking now- months after we’ve finished- “what would Jo say” to help direct my thinking. I am very grateful for her help, knowledge and support, and couldn’t recommend her more.
