We have been supported by Nick for a while due to our HWV's numerous food sensitivities which resulted in pancreatitis prior to Nick's intervention. Without Nick's guidance and support, our pup's health would've deteriorated drastically and we credit him for turning everything around for our boy (and us).
Nick's very responsive and reassuring and we're thankful for his ongoing care.

Not impressed whatsoever by the level of service received. Our girl has complex dietary and environmental allergies. We parted with a significant amount of money to essentially be told the basics - raw feed and wash sheets. Since going to someone else who is actually interested in working through the granular details, we know now what it means to heal our girl properly - taking the time to work through the very important details which were unfortunately neglected by Nick. For example, it appears our girl has an intolerance to algae - something which he didn’t pick up on and was making our girl quite unwell. In addition, there didn’t appear to be any real understanding of how herbal medicines interact in positive or negative ways, nor is there any care whatsoever over the sourcing of products (often a critical part of the puzzle). Combine this poor service with the political (and poorly judged) nature of the ‘Holisticvetuk’ social media platform, I would absolutely not engage their services again whatsoever. It’s clear more time and effort is put into maintaining a public profile, than actually helping animals and their owners overcome complex health issues. Avoid.

What a fantastic vet!! Nick Thompson rescued my lovely rescue dog from a lifetime of inflammatory bowel disease using a raw diet and natural supplements. All was well until I forgot his vermex for a couple of consecutive months and he contracted fox lungworm. I went into meltdown and in panic requested an emergency appointment with Nick, hoping for a consultation within 24 hours. Ten minutes later Nick rang me, told me exactly what to do and reassured me that my best friend was not going to die. I really can't rate Holisticvet Ltd highly enough.

Amazing vet - I can't recommend enough. Our beloved dog Misha was diagnosed with HSA, the only treatment option we were given was aggressive chemo. It felt like a death sentence and I felt we were written off. I contacted Nick and immediately felt a sense of hope. Nick provided an amazing consultation filled with information on ways in which we could help Misha fight off her illness and live a healthy joyous life for as long as is destined. Nick - please write a book!

We are so delighted to have found Nick. He is a very experienced dedicated and lovely vet. Our miniature Labradoodle Teddy has suffered for years from inflamatory bowel pain and associated symptoms. In just a few weeks, after seeing Nick, Teddy is better than he has been in years. Nick really understands dogs and treats the cause rather than just the symptoms. Harley and I went to see Dr Nick Thompson today as Harley is struggling with a very dry and cracked nose. He also has some digestive issues. Nick listened to my concerns and was very thorough in examining Harley and explaining everything. We have put a plan together and hope Harley will soon be on the mend. So great to have found such a highly qualified and experienced vet who is dedicated to helping the animals holistically. Nick has a wonderful way with the animals and their humans, and has treated all our hairy family. With titre testing we were relieved to find that the dogs are not in need of re-vaccination, and with the medical checks we now know about a mild heart condition with one of the girls. The horses have responded fantastically well to their homeopathic remedies to such an extent that one has had no need for the steroids which were previously the only relief for a serious allergic reaction, and the other has come back into work with muscle tension diminished. Before examining the horses Nick wanted their full medical and emotional history, he treats the cause of any problems with natural remedies, but from a place of complete understanding of the requirements of the competition world and the drugs available to treat the symptoms. He works with our animals, with us, and with our local vets as a team. I very highly recommend Nick and the Holisticvet practice.
