Very thorough and professional assessment, Dr Benjamin Walter’s was fantastic and made me feel completely at ease and comfortable enough to open up about a lot of personal issues I’ve dealt with. He was very understanding, empathetic and explained things very well, also transparent about the process with Harley Street Mental Health.

It was easy and quick to get a virtual assessment booked, just make sure you give yourself enough time to do the questionnaires in advance! I had a nightmare doing them the night before my assessment. It’s all online but you do need to provide a lot of information, understandably, and involve a parent and an observer.

I hope the rest of my experience with Harley Street goes just as well as it’s been great so far.

I had been on the nhs waitlist for nearly three years when I researched private clinics to go to and saw the best reviews about Harley mental health. I booked an assessment and was seen after 2 weeks. I was then diagnosed 3 days later and am about to get medication. Dr irfan rafiq was amazing I was really nervous to do my assessment but he was very calming and understanding. I have had the best experience so far and am sure the rest of my experience will be the same!

I was very nervous for my adult adhd assessment but Dr Sumera Raza immediately put me at ease. We had a nice conversation and I felt really listened to the whole time and was encouraged to ask any questions I had as we went. At the end of the consultation she diagnosed me with ADHD and talked me through all of the different treatment options available in a way that was really easy to understand. We decided on a management plan together at the end of the consultation and I felt very involved.

She sent me my report later that day which was an incredibly fast turnaround time. Great experience from booking just 2 days earlier to being seen and diagnosed with a management plan in place. I highly recommend Dr Raza for anyone thinking about booking an adult adhd assessment.

It strikes me that they don't need to be based on Harley Street, but if they didn't have the name, they would probably be approached by fewer perspective clients, as is the fickle world we live. For the high price you pay, however, the service is excellent. They are extremely fast at responding, very approachable, and I have no qualms. My life has been improved by medication that they introduced me to, it is that simple. Their understanding of the conditions they treat cannot be disputed. I just wish I didn't have to pay as much.

I pursued a private ADHD diagnosis due to the insanely long wait for an appointment on the NHS and I am so so pleased I did. It has genuinely changed my life for the better and I would recommend anyone who may be on the fence (and has the means to do so) to go for it!
They are fast to respond and will answer any questions you may have. I was worried dropping so much money to go private but I have no regrets and would do it again in a heartbeat. 10/10

Dr Irfan Rafiq ... fab! He is so calm and friendly and gives you space to just explain things and makes you feel relaxed. He also does this thing we're he'll explain things ridiculously clearly so you fully understand whatever he's discussing e.g. symptoms, processes, medication and next steps.

This was my first time getting a private health based appointment and I was a bit nervous but can strongly say for those considering Harley Street Mental Health .. Do it!

I can’t recommend Harley Street Mental Health enough. They responded very quickly to my questions, with one of the consultants themselves phoning me to explain the process of being tested for ADHD. I made a few errors in my signing up for my assessment eg put in the wrong email address (tell me you’ve got ADHD without telling me you’ve got ADHD!) and the staff were incredibly helpful, re-sending the emails and documents at 8.30pm on a Friday!!

I then booked in with Dr Scot Lindsay for my assessment - I was incredibly nervous for the interview side of things as I’m not great on the spot, but he did and incredible job of making me feel supported and at ease and was very empathetic. Within only 3 days, he had written my report which summarised my experiences better than I ever could, and I was able to request my prescription.

Thanks so much to the team and Dr Lindsay - this was one of the best investments I’ve made!
