I had a double lung transplant on the 14th of February 24. It went quite well. From the cleaners to the nurses, doctors, and surgeons, they are all lovely, friendly, helpful, and polite. They really get to know you and greet you by name and have great bedside manners too. There is a bus stop on the grounds, parking and a restaurant too. There are lovely grounds and beautiful flowers in the summer. I actually enjoy coming here, considering it's a hospital. The rooms are a good size, and have a mini fridge and tv too. I have added some lovely pictures I took last year at various times, inside and outside the hospital grounds. If you are lucky, you might see the pair of local red kites, which is wonderful to see. I highly recommend this wonderful hospital and all staff. Thank you all for taking such good care of me.

The care I received at this hospital has always been nothing short of incredible. I recently had a pacemaker replaced and was looked after so well by everyone involved and I want to say a huge thank you to this hospital for making a traumatic experience so much more bearable. From the kind lady on reception who showed me to the ward, to the nurses on Acorn Ward who are angels, to the staff in the Cath Lab and anaesthetic staff who put me at ease thank you to all of you. You all do an amazing job, and are the kindest people who deserve so much praise, so thank you again for helping keep me alive.

Amazing hospital!! A member of my family had a 3 day stay for a lung assessment. Reception staff very helpful ,cleaners ,catering staff ,nurses,doctors such lovely attentive people they couldnt do enough for you. I stayed onsite in the lodge basic ,but clean ,tranquil surroundings.shops near bakery a must ! This hospital is unique i hope it doesnt change because its outstanding keep up the good work guys 👍

I can’t praise the staff and hospital enough. A massive thank you for saving my life.i had a quadruple heart bypass. Dr Bhudia and his team were excellent. Dr Iyaz (from Turkey) is a lovely man and so is the anestistist whose name I can’t remember but he put me at ease before I was out for the count. All the staff did their job in such a professional way. God bless everyone at Harefield.

Mostly excellent depending on who you deal with. Amazing respectful and understanding consultant Dr Fawzi. Top FH nurses Emma and Lorraine. Unfortunately what let’s the service down when dealing with heart patients that shouldn’t be put under stress is the manner of nurse Laura Davis. She is rude, blunt and very uncaring.

Harefield hospital based in Harefield. Well known for performing heart surgeries and employing some of the top heart surgeon. I had heart surgery here in March 2022 which was very scary but the staff were amazing and very well organised.

I arrived around 7 am and was taken into thertre around 10.30. Back in recovery by 11.30 and after having some lunch and a check over , I was sent home by 2pm.

Staff were amazing and I felt in good hands at all times .

I was there for a week on the maple Ward. nurses and work staff were wonderful nice people. Which helped me recover faster from my lung surgery the hospital was clean with a fun atmosphere. And I really can't say thank you enough to all of them at that hospital.

Today, (10/07/2021) on entering the hospital, I was greeted by a gentleman who asked me if he could help. He directed me to the department that was needed, but got slightly lost and ended up walking onto a ward as the door was open.
A very kind member of the nursing staff redirected me and eventually found the department. The radiographers were very good in explaining everything that I needed to know, with a special mention towards Catherine and the New Zealand 🇳🇿 radiographer.
A huge thank you to all concerned who made me feel relaxed as this was my first visit to the hospital and first time in the CT scanner.
