We had a nice Sunday lunch, the service was good and fairly prompt even though the restaurant was quite busy. The wine is great and a credit to the vineyard. The craft shops at the site were good to look around. We didnt watch the "Wild"bird show but others said it was great. Plenty of parking and easily accessible.

We enjoyed English breakfast here, and the experience was unforgettable. Sitting among the vineyards, with the soft morning sun warming the air, made every bite even more enjoyable.

The plate was a classic done right – perfectly cooked eggs, crisp bacon, savory sausages, golden hash browns, grilled tomatoes, and mushrooms, all accompanied by warm toast and rich, flavourful coffee. Everything tasted fresh, high quality, and made with care.

What made the morning even more special was the service. The staff were not only attentive to us but incredibly kind and welcoming to our 2-year-old son. They made sure he felt just as much a guest as we did, which made our visit feel warm and personal.

The setting is breathtaking — rows of grapevines stretching into the distance, birdsong in the background, and a peaceful stillness that makes you slow down and savor the moment.

If you love a hearty English breakfast and want to enjoy it somewhere truly special, this vineyard spot is pure perfection.

Camping and dining and tasting!

Tasting - great wine and the cheese/meat board was top notch! Highly recommend this on the balcony over looking the vineyard on a sunny day.

Camping - a field next to the fisheries. They have everything you need and it's quite level. Elsan point/fresh water is near the main building not near where you camp (I think they have recently changed the camping location) the water fill point is a bit of a pain, we had to move twice while filling up because it's on a through road. No tools to open the elsan so take a flat head screwdriver.

Dining -this was a mixed bag. The roasts looked nice. I ordered the sea bass with roast potatoes. This was a mistake. The fish was pretty tasteless and the potatoes used for the roast were far too sweet. The rest of the table enjoyed their meals and desserts so maybe just avoid the sea bass.

All in all, a good little stop with friendly staff.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

Absolutely great place.

We managed to grab a table on the rooftop bar. The cheese or antipasti boards won’t disappoint👌🏼

We bought a bottle of red Halfpenny wine.

We stayed overnight in the car park with our Motorhome.

As you drive through you can see the vineyard either side of The narrow drive which is for two way traffic. I've been to a vineyard in Spain, but it's fascinating how we now have the weather to grow grapes 🍇 in the UK for wine.

Nice place to have something to eat. A good choice of meals to choose from You can have a wine tasting session.

They have a gift shop with a good range of teas, biscuits and other items to buy. Further down in the shop is the delivery, we brought some pickles, a pie cheese and crackers. A little treat.

Most of the craft shops were not open, I assume they will open when it gets warmer. Unable to see the place in full swing.

Worth a visit

Had not been for a long time and decided to go for a late breakfast with my husband to celebrate my birthday.
Atmosphere was really lovely. Plenty of tables to choose from in the conservatory area.
I ordered scrambled egg on toast and asked for a couple of rashers of bacon on the side, not an option on the menu but they happily obliged my request.
Food was absolutely delicious. Staff are all really friendly. Saw the owner who always will acknowledge us when we see him.
Absolutely love this place.

Very Very Very Average!
We were made pay £10 for an afternoon tea 4 days before Ok understand that .So whilst on the call with Carmen asked for a quiet private nook for my Mom as it was her Birthday ..
The menu for vegetarian and pescatarian was bleak , asked for a soup and it was with Cheese ( No dairy Thanks ) so ended up with a Tuna sandwich with The Chips from hell .Large jacket potato chips the size of sausages , NOT fries or chips.
The obligatory "How's the meal " said the tuna mayo was dry and that the chips were In My view too big and dry!
I was basically told thats your lot mate !
The Cream tea was good for my mother though.
The quiet asked for table, was in the main thoroughfare area , Noisy with a staff sing song..I should have been informed when booking this was going to be the case...
Dont get fooled the Fern and fauna and the romance of the Vineyard are super But in my Mind the Restaurant needs work.
I took a £10 note for a tip, but didn't leave it as I was so Upset that after booking and requesting i received a poor service.
