I met Gayle in 2015 when I joined a group to learn Mindfulness with her. I really enjoyed the course - the material is great, and I really got it because of the way Gayle taught it and indeed lives it in a way that shows through in her teaching. The following year I joined her Mindful Self-compassion course and again the material and the way Gayle teaches it are great. I was so inspired that I have gone on to be a teacher-in-training for Mindful Self-compassion. I've also hired Gayle to run Mindfulness courses at the School where I work, and the feedback has all been excellent. So I have no concerns about giving Gayle 5 stars and thoroughly recommending her as a teacher. John

The Mindfulness for teachers 8 week course led by Gayle was my first exposure to the world of Mindfulness. I consider myself very lucky to have such an insightful and kind teacher guide me and support me during and after the course. Gayle’s patience and warmth immediately made me feel at ease and her expertise and attention to detail are truly impressive. Two years after that course, my daily mindfulness practice has quite literally transformed my life, to the point that my friends and family have also commented on how much calmer, happier and emotionally healthier I am. Gayle has been a true inspiration to me: I have trained to teach mindfulness to 11-18 year old students and am now teaching mindfulness to some of my students. I also take part in the Amersham mindfulness workshops- there is something really special about like minded people exploring and deepening their practice together. Whether you are new to mindfulness or an accomplished practitioner, I wholeheartedly recommend you attending Amersham monthly workshops, it is a worthwhile investment in yourself. Thank you, Gayle, for your support, skilful leadership and insight that you bring to the sessions. Annie

I attended an eight week course that Gayle ran for a group of 7/8 people. Gayle brings great insight, calm and experience in creating the right atmosphere for setting out on a Mindfulness journey, which was really appreciated by all of us. Really enjoyed the experience and learnt lots about finding the time to "take time" and refresh the mind, body and soul. The class was a great place to learn and have very positive "me time" that left me refreshed and also taught me practical approaches/tools to build into my everyday routines. If you feel you never get time to "be", then you should make time for this.

It very rarely happens in your adult life that somebody opens up a complete new experience to you. Gayle's mindfulness self-compassion course, an her teaching me how to meditate, was one of this magic moments. Saying the class, - and some one-on-one sessions later - changed my life would be a tad over the top, but only slightly. It was one of the best things I've done in a long time, that's for sure. Gayle's rich experience, her patience and her kindness are just amazing. If you're looking for a mindfulness teacher in or at least close to London, I can wholeheartedly recommend Gayle.

It was wonderful to find that In addition to her mindfulness courses Gayle offers the opportunity to come together with others at her monthly mindfulness workshops in Amersham. Here we meditate, reflect on our practice, share our challenges and thoughts, all expertly and sensitively guided by Gayle in a warm and supportive atmosphere. I look forward to these nourishing workshops and highly recommend them.

Gayle's Mindfulness workshops and retreat days are a real inspiration. They have helped broaden & deepen my practice and motivated me to stay focussed on, and appreciate, what truly matters in life as well as taking pleasure from the smaller moments. I always come away inspired by the 'talk' segment of the workshop. It is also a joy to connect with other like minded individuals at her events, all at varying points in their mindfulness journey.

Juggling a busy work-life balance was becoming increasingly difficult when I signed up for Gayle's 8 week mindfulness course. I knew that something had to change within me as the external factors were not going to! The course was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone facing similar challenges. You need to be prepared to put in a lot of work yourself in order to reap the benefits but it is worth it. Gayle has a lovely personality and is very encouraging- she enables a roomful of strangers to quickly become comfortable with each other. The hardest bit is keeping up the exercises when the course finishes!
