This place should be closed down and reported to the mayor of NHS. I had exactly the same experiences as some people from the previous reviews. Employers and nurses introduce themself as "Doctor." Feedback was filled out by nurses as if I were the one who filled out, forced to sign, with all fake positive answers. Also, fake answers and statements in regard to my mental health notes. No wonder why some people take their life, just as I tried before, because there is no help from the mental health team, or at least not from this clinic. Should be closed down and report it to the NHS all the negligence and illegal matter happening at Gauranga, Neighbourhood 2 Prinary health care, 1 Southbrook Rd, London SE12 8LH.

As you can see above this team and the service has definitely failed the 6Cs! Do not bother with this service they have lack of support, care and knowledge... no matter how much you're struggling they will leave you days and days of struggle before calling you. They don't have their best interests in you.
I have ended up feeling worse being with them.
I felt so neglected by them that the best thing to do was discharge myself from them only to find that they have discharged me without my knowledge.

Anyway, now that I am discharged, it is a huge amount of weight taken off my shoulders!! I'm doing better without them.

If anyone refers you to this service, kindly decline unless you want to feel worse than you already do.

Honestly I want to be positive about any mental health space as they are essential in the community, but having gone here on and off for the past year my experiences have been horrific. From a social worker misdiagnoising me to a new psychiatrist that believes and has stated to me that he is psychic and therefore disregards everything you tell him, one Dr, Dr.Singh was incredible and a diamond in the midst of this horrible place but sadly she left and her replacement is to say the least a danger to the public. It horrifies me that a place like this is trusted to help vulnerable people, and my experiences have been terrible.

A Member of my family was given an appointment at this clinic recently for an assessment due to ongoing mental health issues. They were expecting to see the doctor who had diagnosed their condition. Upon arrival they were treated poorly by the reception team and were shown to a locum social worker instead of the doctor. This social worker was, in my opinion, very inexperienced in dealing with this particular condition. This has had a huge detrimental effect on my relatives already fragile mental state. What a scandal that so called mental health care professionals do not seem to fully understand the vulnerability of their clients nor appreciate the impact this has on the individual. Shame on these people!

I am just in absolute shock how bad this place is. The receptionist was so rude. She had a really bad attitude. Got know where with her at all she just likes to talk down to you and behaved like she is superior to you. Extremely bad. Why would they have some like this in a mental heath place when the people that will be calling here are fragile and in need of kind caring understanding people! After coming off the phone with her my heart was pounding and I started having a panic attack. I had been referred to this place and no one got in contacted with me. In my opinion if you are close to suicide and need help try somewhere else.

Discharged without my knowledge, just a letter sent to GP about a change in medication. No one got back to me after an appointment, even after I'd called them in an emergency as I was suicidal. They called me back after a few days with a "oh, well you're still alive" kind of attitude.

I was referred to this clinic at the beginning of the year due to my personality disorder, anxieties and social phobias and possible bipolic symptoms I think it was through my GP or through an admittance to hospital due to an episode. Now I have severe mobility restrictions, and am also a diaysis patient, so my mobility restriction not only stems from my arthritis/osteomalacia complication of End Stage Kidney Disease, but also I suffer from breathlessness and weakness and severe fatigue.

When arriving for my first appointment, I saw a large three floored with basement, Victorian looking property and was quite surprised as usual medical places are more modern and flat roof looking buildings, I pushed this aside thinking it was like one of those medical practices that was on one floor and the other floors were for other possible business or private dwellings.

Once I got to the entrance, having to use walking aids and sometimes on very bad days having to use a self pushing wheelchair, I noticed that there was no ramp and that you had to go up about ten steep old fashioned steps with no handle bars to hold on to, having to reach the front door was extremely difficult and distressing as well as painful, im just glad that there was someone with me to guide me and make sure that I didnt lose my balance and have a fall!!

Once entering the small narrow hallway and turning into a small medium room that if it was a private house it would be a small front room in my view, this is where the reception and waiting room was located, the reception area was very small as well as the waiting area was extremely small with roughly about 6-8 maybe less chairs. I spoke to the middle aged in my personal view miserable looking faced receptionist announcing my arrival for my appointment, whereby she replied Your Counsellor Dr Constable will call you in shortly in the most morbid and unfriendly manner I could muster. I was shocked at the offhanded attitude I was treated with, my partner and I looked at each other in mutually perplexing, and without even being indicated by the reception decided to go and take a seat,

To note, as I was going into the front entrance and through the hallway before entering the reception area I notice that there were a lot of stairs, stairs going up and stairs going down!! Subconsciously this horrified me, as due to my disabilities I thought how the hell am I going to deal with these stairs. The reception saw I was struggling with my physical disabilities but made no comments or assurance to me when speaking with me.

After about 20 minutes I was eventually called in for my appointment and to my horror I had to go down to the basement, down two short flights of stairs that were old fashioned winding and extremely narrow and with only one sided old fashioned wooden bannisters that creaked and rocked when I put my weight on it, on the other side was just a plain wall. The doctor saw that I was struggling quite badly to get down the stairs, and with great difficult so much that my partner again had to guide me to make sure that I didnt lose my balance.

doctor constable obviously knew I was struggling but he completely dismissed this and didnt even offer to look for a more accessible room for me to have the meeting in, in fact as we past some rooms once I eventually got to the bottom of the two flighted stairs to the basement, I could see !the rooms and they were extremely dishevelled, disorganised and frankly an complete mess and nothing I would expect from a Counselling/psychiatric facility?!! I dread to think what would happen if I would have been expected to go to the upstairs rooms. All in all the building was old, the décor was deteriorating it had a terrible hostile and morbid atmosphere, no motivational atmosphere for mental health issues like posters or magazines. The carpet was a very dark, stained musty smelling, which penetrated throughout the building

. DONT BE REFERRED TO SOUTHBROOK CLINIC, LESS, IT IS HORRENDOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While my case worker was great. Telling someone who has come to you for therapy to get a hobby and then come back to them when you were referred for ideation is pretty serious malpractice.
