I have been regularly attending personal training sessions at Foxcoat Studio - which include circuit work, bodyweight aerobic training and weight training - since October 2022. My hope was that this focused activity would make me feel healthier but 16 months on the impact on my strength and fitness and emotional, as well as physical, wellbeing has been more significant than I ever imagined possible.

Working with Andrew (Andy) Clarkson, founder and lead instructor at Foxcoat, is consistently challenging and unfailingly rewarding. Andy's knowledge, skill and holistic focus, along with his empathetic and intuitive approach results in a personalised programme that perfectly connects with the needs of each client, in general, and on any one particular day. Whatever mood I take into the studio I always come out feeling better and now in my mid-60s I feel more comfortable in, and with, my body than I have for a very long time.

Firstly Foxcoat Studio is a great space fully equipped for all the classes on offer . I have taken part in Ninjutsu, personal fitness training and Japanese Yoga here and the main thing I find of use is Andy's knowledge of what he is teaching especially when it comes to the Japanese language, culture, tradition and history . You not only train but you learn so much too . Andy listens and is understanding of individual needs , as I have quite a few this is very important , and adapts training accordingly . I have just started training again and Foxcoat was my first and only choice .
