I walked in holding myself up on two sticks. After the first session I was walking better, my back was supporting me again. 3 session in total, no sticks. Andrea's has had me up and down on and off the floor with exercises. Feel so much better. Thank you so much Andreas

I have had 6 weeks of treatment with Ranza, plus the exercises she has given me which I do daily. Ranza has a holistic and gentle approach, and she has worked wonders with her treatment on my hips and back. My mobility had been affected as a result of the pain I had been experiencing. I can now say I can walk without any pain, due to her treatment. Highly recommend!

I am so grateful to Andrea, I went to see him for my back and neck, I have a very stuck upper thoracic spine and neck due to old injuries, the treatment was amazing and he gave me exercises to work on which are proving to be very helpful
He also gave me a simple but profound way of thinking about my posture which was a game changer for me.
I have been working as a massage therapist myself for over 12 years now and have quite a lot of insight and experience working with bodies and I have also seen other osteopaths over the years, and I can hands down recommend him as the best I have been to. And on top of that he’s a lovely human being.

I took my baby to 2 osteopathy clinics in York and I don’t want to speak badly of the other one but Ranza at Fern was a thousand times more thorough. She did a full body assessment and explained everything so well. She has also been so supportive and helpful and has reassured me on the many worries I went to her with.

I have recently taken my daughter for two appointments with Andrea. She has always suffered with reflux which has meant screaming, vomiting and bottle refusal at night.
She was 8 months at the time and I was beyond tired!
I was really interested to learn about trauma during birth and how that can have a knock on effect to how well a baby settles.
Following the first appointment, my daughter slept for hours!! She was in a peaceful sleep and didn’t wake up in distress. This lasted for about a week. We booked another appointment and had similar results.
Although we still have issues, my husband and I agreed that it was well worth the money to get some actual sleep and to know that our little girl was well rested too.

My 12 week old baby would cry for many hours on an evening and I’d tried everything for weeks to make a difference but nothing was working. She seemed to be in considerable pain. I came across an article which suggested an Osteopath could help babies who have had traumatic births and are suffering as a consequence. My first session with Ranza was extremely informative and she understood the issue straight away. That very same day my baby’s development was unbelievable. She started holding her own head up, could pick up toys and only cried for 1 hour on the evening compared to the usual 5 hours. After 4 sessions all within 3 weeks, my baby was completely relieved of all her issues and has never cried uncontrollably on an evening since. It’s been a complete miracle to see my baby so content and I can’t thank Ranza enough for her care and support.

Ranza and Andrea and lovely people and i would recomend their care to everyone. Me and my family have been going to them since we moved into the area (about 10 years ago) and we've all found it very beneficial. They know their stuff and are honest and unjudgemental. Andrea has been a huge help for me when recovering from a recent road traffic accident. And ranza always has a warm fluffy blanket at hand!

Following childbirth and later some gynae surgery I suffered recurrent bladder infections for over 20 years. For the last 5 years I was prescribed low dose antibiotics which helped but did not completely solve the problem. Whilst seeing Ranza for some back pain, she suggested that I had a course of treatment with her to see if she could help with my pelvic issues. To be honest, it had never occurred to me that osteopathy would even be an option for bladder problems. Well last October I began a course of treatment that lasted about 3 months. It was totally astonishing and I noticed changes almost immediately. Long and short, I stopped taking the antibiotics last January and since then I had one infection in February after which I knew the infection was gone and I have had no further issues. I can only describe this as life changing. I rarely even think about it whereas before I always felt as though I was on the cusp of the next infection. Ranza is an amazing osteopath, so empathetic, caring. I know many women like me just get used to living with UTIs ....not any more for me😃
