Determined to overcome a personal challenge with illness, I sought out natural ways to supplement my medical treatment that would not only help me heal but could also support a healthful life change that encouraged wellbeing. As my condition meant that I had a compromised immune system, and I was unable to attend any meetings in person due to the coronavirus pandemic, added to which we were in lockdown, I sought help online.
Ella and I discussed Reiki as a pathway to healing myself and although I had read about Reiki and its healing powers and was happy and excited to go ahead and take Reiki Level 1, I was hesitant as to how this would work at a distance. I realised after the first session that I had no need for worry. Reiki energy knows no physical boundaries and connecting with it and with Ella was easy. The experiences I had during the attunements were incredible and after only a few weeks of completing Level 1, I could feel my body healing. It changed my life completely! I felt a calm and an inner peace that I had never felt before. I had complete trust in the universe. I no longer worried continually.
