I recommend Jason to anyone and everyone! But in particular to pregnant women. I started my treatments in my third trimester of pregnancy when I was struggling with excruciating back pain, having tried many other forms of treatment and pretty desperate to feel better! My phobia of needles meant this was the last resort. My phobia quickly diminished as the needles are painless and I would often find the treatment so relaxing I’d sleep for the entire period! (Also great for someone who was struggling to sleep in third trimester)

The first session with Jason made an instant improvement within 24 hours, with my back pain being fully healed after a few sessions - this was a huge turn around given I barely walk without wincing in pain.

I enjoyed the treatments and found such a benefit that I continued them for the rest of my pregnancy. We did weekly treatments up until my due date and then bi-weekly for a week until baby arrived. I truly believe the acupuncture led to the quick and uncomplicated natural birth of my first baby - it felt like my body was so prepared.

I’d been nervous for my first session, feeling very conscious and protective of my pregnant body. Jason made me feel really comfortable and spoke about his own wife’s pregnancy journeys which helped feel that he empathised with what I was experiencing.

Jason adjusted treatments depending on any aches or pains I would mention, and changed the treatments completely when I was ready for my baby to arrive! He remained relaxed with appointment booking given we didn’t know when baby would arrive and I ended up having to cancel the last one due to being in labour.

The setting where the appointments are held is also beautiful with a stunning view over Bath.

I’d urge anyone to try this Chinese medicine treatment but in particular, if possible, to use Jason who will undoubtedly make the experience a good one.

His approach is holistic - he has listened carefully to the various issues I have and is helping me with my general well-being as well as the original identified problem.
