Dawn has been an incredible support for my teenage daughter, helping her work through some issues with anxiety. They have connected so well in a relatively short space of time. I would definitely recommend her services in this space!

I contacted Dawn when looking for counselling for my pre teen daughter. She managed to fit us in for an initial assessment within a couple of days and we attended weekly after that. My daughter wanted to be able to speak to someone without me in the room so she could really open up and not all counsellors I contacted were happy to do this with an under 16. I was present for the initial assessment and a few other sessions when it was appropriate but otherwise I waited in a comfortable waiting area outside. Obviously if there was anything concerning discussed it was made clear to my daughter that I would be informed but otherwise it was a confidential session. My daughter felt comfortable with Dawn straight away and would come out of each session much brighter than she went in - she was struggling with anxiety, low mood, anger, self harm and low self esteem. Dawn helped her to be able to rationalise and verbalise her feelings and they worked on strategies to help ground her when needed. She still applies these strategies now months later and hasn’t self harmed since the sessions ended.
Dawn puts you at ease and my daughter loved her visits, she said it felt like just chatting to a friend (though obviously it was much more!) I would highly recommend Dawn, we continued to access the service for many months and would definitely go back in future if it was needed.

Dawn is very professionally, excellent therapist, she takes the time to listen and look for solutions to better your inner self.
