So friendly. Daniel kindly took special rings that were once my fathers and nans and made 2 very special gold bands for me.
He just used the original gold from the rings and recreated perfectly what I had in mind.

Having had a fabulous, fun and insightful half-day ring-making workshop with Dan a few months earlier, my partner and I joined him again for a day in his vibey studio to make our civil partnership bands. We had such an amazing time - learnt huge amounts and ended up with two spectacular rings that we're beyond thrilled with. Check out the photos of what we started out with and what we'd created with it by the end of the day! Dan is an absolute gem of a man, brilliant fun, an amazing teacher and of course an extraordinarily talented jeweller, but it turns out he's also a pretty mean banjo player, as he demonstrated while we put the finishing touches on our golden treasures! Hugely and wholeheartedly recommended!

Fantastic day spent with Daniel. Highly recommend his courses. It was great to make something I now love to wear and see the amount of work that goes into making jewellery. Just a shame we didn’t get to hear his banjo playing 😉

Had a wonderful couple of hours yesterday, learning how to make my stacking ring.
Dan (Frank 😉) is a genuinely lovely chap, very friendly, very real, very helpful and throws in some humour too!
My only problem is that I have to wait till next year to try another workshop and have him make my bespoke ring!

Looking forward to it already though 🙈.

I've been acquainted with Dan's work for many years, noticing his subtle and timeless silver ring-setting style in particular, way back when he had a market stall. When I decided to update some old rings, I remembered his work and I'm so glad I did. He's come a long way since then !
He has just completed re-working two Victorian rings with diamonds and sapphires in 18ct gold for me, both with sentimental value, so I knew I had to be able to trust whoever did the work.
I had a basic sketch of what I hoped would work, and I'm particular about detail and setting styles.
A short discussion and some notes taken were all he needed to completely understand what I was after, and the results are fantastic. I am so happy with the quality of the work - flawless.

Dan is an artisan craftsman, his creativity is subtle so the integrity of the piece speaks for itself without fuss. I highly recommend the quality of Dan's work - and it didn't cost me the earth, like it would have done with a High St jeweller, so very happy indeed. I wouldn't use anyone else now. Thanks Dan 🙂

My husband wanted to have a ring made for our 10th anniversary and as Dan had made our beautiful wedding rings 10 years previously, we asked him to make this one. I had an idea of what I wanted but didn't really know how it would translate to a piece of jewellery; however Dan absolutely did. He made a beautifully detailed and special piece that is definitely a one off and I will absolutely treasure. Dan is a very talented jeweller and a lovely guy to work with; would highly recommend to anyone whether it's for a one off piece, a jewellery making experience or to browse his collection. Thanks Dan.
