I was recommended to Cheryl by friend who had trained with Cheryl in the past. At the time I was feeling very low with my weight gain and trying things that used to work before going through the menopause and they were just not working. I have never done resistance training before, I had always been a runner, but the knees don’t let me do that anymore. I was nervous about starting, but after talking to Cheryl on the phone, she put my mind at rest and was really looking forward to getting started. My first session went over in a flash and I was buzzing when I came out. Everyone was so lovely, helping me understand the machines and giving me tips. Cheryl is there every step of the way making sure you’re doing each exercise safe and also helping to push you achieve your best. No mirrors is an absolute bonus, not a huge fan of seeing myself in the mirror. Cheryl also helps with managing your food intake, my eating has totally transformed as I now understand which foods help with what my body is going through and to help with mood swings. I do have pictures of my progress, but I don’t feel comfortable sharing them publicly yet, my journey is still going. Cheryl has been an absolute godsend for me in my time of life, she has opened my eyes to the fact that menopause can be managed, exercise can be fun again and the fact that you also meet some amazing women going through the same thing. My journey with Cheryl isn’t over, I will be back to continue with my progress. I highly recommend any woman who is at a stand still with exercise and struggling with menopause and getting old to go and train with Cheryl, you won’t regret it xx

I’ve just completed a 4 week programme with Cheryl and I’ve enjoyed every session it helped me to learn what areas I need to work on for fitness and stamina and the stubborn areas which I need to concentrate on !! I’ve just signed up for the 4 week programme online sadly my shifts keep changing but again it keeps me in check for exercises and Cheryl is always still there to help if needed. I would recommend Cheryl for women of an older age this definitely helps with what is going on in our bodies peri menopausal or menopausal hormones everything !! Again thanks Cheryl for all your help kettle bells are always at the ready in garden now 🤣🥰

I started working with Cheryl as I was struggling with severe knee pain, which needed a total knee replacement. I've never enjoyed the gym and had no experience or knowledge of strength training, having relied on walking and swimming to keep fit. From the very start Cheryl worked with my attitude and experience, encouraging me to be honest. I joined a regular group session and with Cheryl's help, encouragement and motivation actually found myself enjoying it! She adapted exercises to work with my knee condition and knew exactly how to push me to achieve more than I thought possible. In addition, she helped me to improve my nutrition and eating habits. I'm now 3 weeks post knee replacement surgery and am really feeling the benefits of all my strength training. Without Cheryl I definitely wouldn't be as far forward in my recovery and will be returning to training as soon as I get the go ahead. I always thought that weight training wasn't for me, particularly with my knee issues. But not only can you weight train with dodgy knees, you actually need to in order to improve your strength and resilience. Cheryl is knowledgeable, passionate, and has an amazing ability to make training fun. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Before finding Cheryl I had been very inconsistent with exercise and really just wanted to find somewhere that could help me achieve my goal of feeling fitter and healthier but in a friendly environment.

I knew from my first phone call with Cheryl that she was so knowledgeable about health and wellness and really took the time to get to know me.

I noticed a difference within 4 short weeks of training with her. Her classes are small and personal and she gives you so much useful
advice both in and out of the gym. Everyone in the group is so friendly and supportive. It really isn’t a case of just coming to a class 3 times a week, Cheryl is on hand to answer any queries and gives lots of extra information about food choices which is invaluable. I can’t recommend Cheryl enough, she’s magic.
