CALM Acupuncture is so named for good reasons, a) they know how to do calm and b) they know how to do acupuncture & acupressure. I have been a client at this multi-bed clinic in the heart of the city (and in a wheelchair-accessible location, note) for a number of years and I can honestly say that they've been saving my life. Competence in their fields and compassion in their approach to their clients/patients, I never hesitate to recommend them to others. My disability is not an issue for them (which is a huge relief for me) & I can get on with the business of managing my well-being with their expert help. CALM acupuncture has been integral to my well-being, helping me to cope with my long COVID symptoms, and my menstrual health. Even the low-cost treatment is tailored specifically for each person, and much time is taken for the correct treatment to be given. Even the communal space feels safe, 'CALM' (lol) and welcoming. The sliding scale price also make treatment much more accessible. I feel really taken care of, and appreciate this place so much. It makes a really big difference to my physical and mental health, as well as my pain. Thank you so much!

When I first went to CALM I had no idea what to expect. My first impressions were very positive. The team are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring.
At my first appointment we discussed what I was hoping to gain from acupuncture. I have suffered from restless leg syndrome since as a small child and am taking the maximum dose of medication which is only partly effective. I discussed this with the team. They told me as I had the problem for nearly 70 years they could not guarantee that Accupuncture would cure it. I decided to give it a go and appreciated their honesty. Since having Accupuncture I have reduced my medication and I am far more comfortable during the day.

When I first started accupuncture I had a blocked lymphatic system resulting in a very swollen leg. Accupuncture has relieved this problem something the doctors never could! My leg is now normal size.
The team have worked on my whole body not just the restless legs.I
I can’t recommend CALM enough. I have been converted from a sceptic to a true believer. My health has definitely improved since finding CALM.
The team are all about helping people and improving quality of life.

The ladies at C.A.L.M. are amazing! My damaged knee ligaments refused to respond to rest or exercise... and yet in only a couple of sessions of acupuncture I felt a marked improvement; and half-a-dozen visits later the pain was completely eradicated! I can't recommend them highly enough for their professionalism, care and attention. I will be attending on a regular basis even beyond my treatment for the injury, purely for the relaxation that is a happy by-product of this ancient healing process. Bless you C.A.L.M.! ?

I would have carried on with the sessions, but I'm learning to drive, and I didn't have enough money. I'll be starting again at some point. Very relaxing. I would strongly recommend giving it a go
